When you look at the bigger picture we all knew this was coming.Five years of total mismanagement as the stock of the club fell through the floor and you wonder why the side is this poor...players signed of the low calibre of Bennett?

Lambert can't make a silk Purse out of a Pigs ear.

Unfortunately signing the likes of Bennett and Jackson just seems to be adding to that pig's ear. Not convinced either of them are better than what we already have. Lawrence was far more of a threat than Bennett when he came on.

I said a couple of weeks ago, that perhaps the owners had brought Lambert in, as he is know to have taken a team from league one to the premier league in 2 seasons. I joked that perhaps he could do it with us. At this rate, come May Lambert may well be saying, I have done it before, so there is no reason why I can't do it again?

On another note, we have Charlton up next week, who have conceded 11 in their last 2 games. Will we fire blanks against tem too?

Killgallon awful, let Zamora outmuscle him more than once. Going forward players are Really lacking confidence, Prime example Conway who has been poor for a few games, but squad is SO awfully weak we can't replace him! Neither can we replace Rhodes for a few games. This will continue in my opinion till at least end of season, we need 5-6 new players including a Dunn type midfielder, someone comfortable in centre of park who can really drive forward and pass the ball about

Considering the opposition it wasn't awful it was just the usual bog standard championship stuff from us really. Plenty endeavour and i certainly wouldn't say they aren't playing for the manager. There was enough bits of pressure in the 2nd half to have scrapped a draw and if not for the crap early bit of defending we'd be looking at another 0-0.

Problem as usual is we create absolutely naff all whatsoever and we look very disjointed when trying to attack. You just hope for a set piece goal, a ball to drop to Rhodes or one player to just pull something out of the blue. Lambert at least tries to make impact subs but they just haven't been enough so far.

The biggest shock to me and I can't believe it is lambert can't got more out of this group of players.

Will be interested to hear what he has to say because for a good few games now it's pathetic and not looking like changing.

That new lad who started was hopeless and as for the lad who came on I hardly think someone found in barnsleys reject bin going to make any impact here.

Then the usual suspects. In the old champ man player attributes out of 20 if spurr was ranked throw ins 20 then pace, power, skill, marking, heading, passing, defending, ability, awareness, etc he'd struggle to get 5/20 for anything. Non league footballer in everything but throws. And he's not alone in the hopeless stakes just the worst of a bad bunch.

Take a chill pill guys. This season was over after 3 wins out of 17.

We're all just going to have to wait it out - watch some other more enjoyable sport, discover other hobbies and interests, hope for a cup run similar to last season.

If we go down I'll eat my hat. 3 points against Charlton coming next week as they seem to be even more diabolical than the last time we played them when they were simply diabolical.

Meanwhile the cricket is quite good at the moment ^_^. Roll on Rovers August 2016!!!!

Exactly why I was hoping people would be calm. The embargo put paid to what was a nice little squad.

Interesting that from Brighton in 5th to roughly 10th, all of those teams have struggled and come good.

I have some sympathy for Conway - as I thought Spurr was awful and offers little going forward - which impacts on Conways effectiveness.

Composure on the ball is largely pathetic - probably Marshall apart.

As some have mentioned - when Brown is MOM it shows how poorly the team are playing - but full credit to him for a wholehearted performance.

Can't say we were unlucky to lose - but we aren't getting the rub of the green at the moment.

As for Brighton - a very poor team who time wasted from the 2nd minute. Zamora gets away with absolute murder up front - but it is that type of guile that we are probably missing.

Very naive to think we'll just roll Charlton over. Who is going to score the goal(s)?

We're the team that does everything in their power to give the opposition a win when they desperately need it remember.

Less 6 assists from Cairney, and 20 goals from Rudy.

According to http://www.squawka.com/stats. Cairney has created roughly the same number of chances for Fulham this season, as Marshall and Conway combined.

Think that says it all really.

Cairney is 12th in the "chances created" category. Whilst Conway is 21st and Marshall, Akpan, Evans, Williamson, Bennett and Taylor are ranked 149-442.

Got to say this is about where I am with it, when Lambert arrived I said I would write off this season as a transitional one, that thought won't change unless we are in dire straights.

I don't blame anyone for being apoplectic but as it stands I don't feel too worried

Absolutely awful. To say that Brown was MOM shows how far we've sunk.

Charlton has a 1-0 written all over it, and not in our favour. Spurr is an absolute liability, slows everything down, and where has Conway's from gone?

They didn't even look arsed at the end.

Problem with Spurr - not only is he slow to run - but seems extremely slow to react to situations.
