neophox Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I hope Rhodes go to a premiership club. This is disgrace by Boro.
yoda Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Bet Paul Lambert is annoyed! wonder how much this effects any planned business for tomorrow?? Doubt it, JR's place has already been allocated. Another club will step in with a bid
neophox Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Bet Paul Lambert is annoyed! wonder how much this effects any planned business for tomorrow?? Why would IT? Still expecting loans. Lawrence left today.
Backroom Tom Posted January 31, 2016 Author Backroom Posted January 31, 2016 Rhodes says "I'll knuckle down and get my work head back on at Blackburn. It's a great club". Jim White again

yoda Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Boro are a joke of a football club. i wouldn't push that to far with our recent history
neophox Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Think Gibson not sure they get promoted...cowardness
yoda Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Rhodes says "I'll knuckle down and get my work head back on at Blackburn. It's a great club". Jim White again JR will to have to do something special with his game just to get into the team now
adsfortheblues Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Can see Rhodes going out on loan at last minute now.

neophox Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Can see Rhodes going out on loan at last minute now. Why?
yoda Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Think Gibson not sure they get promoted...cowardness Or he has seen how we changed our game at Oxford and though, sh1t, that might happen to us !
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Boro saving face. He will have turned them down. No way.
mustard Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 i wouldn't push that to far with our recent history For a whole set of reasons completely different to our own
JHRover Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 If he's staying then I'm not going to be disappointed. Whatever anyone says he's got goals and we need them. It seems there is a great deal of confusion around the circumstances of the deal being off. Most media sources are reporting it is Middlesbrough who have pulled the plug, not Rovers and not Rhodes. Jim White quoted Rhodes as being 'baffled and disappointed' that Middlesbrough pulled out. Yet reading the Middlesbrough Gazette story they seem to be blaming it on Rhodes' contract demands. Surely if Rhodes was that keen to go there then he would forgo some bonuses and wouldn't say he was 'baffled' by their decision? Middlesbrough will have known exactly how much he is on a week here so I can't imagine what surprises they've encountered over the weekend to suddenly drop the whole thing at the last minute.
Riverside67 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Not put Boro and Gibson in a good light at all. We don't know who has been changing the goalposts but someone has. Gutted for Rhodes because he deserved his chance and had been very professional throughout.
Paul Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 JR will to have to do something special with his game just to get into the team now If this proves to be the case it could make Rovers winners in every respect. Lambert appears to have got the players he wanted, Rhodes - who is a good pro - will really have to up his game to get in the team PL appears to be building to get himself in the summer shop window. Might work out very well.
Speedie Dived Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 No way. If there is another team in a mean, if Newcastle are in he will have asked for daft money.

My thoughts also.
neophox Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Venkys is mega rich and we havent splash the cash. Imagine Watt and Rhodes strike force.
Stuart Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Amazing turn of events. Feel sorry for Jordan.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Can see Rhodes going out on loan at last minute now. Me too.
