thegrumpyman Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Warhurst was a top top quality player. Great tenacity. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3083278/Blackburn-Rovers-title-winning-including-Alan-Shearer-Tim-Sherwood-reunite-20-years-Premier-League-triumph.html Ripley and Wilcox - legends. Parkes looks well @#/? off. Pearce doesn't look any different. Kenna's grin is ridiculous and his barnet. Alan Wright was the one I struggled remembering who he was. Good right back though.

thegrumpyman Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Warhurst looks like a nightclub owner in that photo
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 I was in " Watches of Switzerland " on King Street, Manchester today browsing their stock. I became aware of a man and a woman chatting to the sales assistant behind me. The sales assistant asked the guy to spell out his name for an invoice. The guy said W A R H U R S T. I looked around and it was the same Paul Warhurst that played for us. He was walking with a stick and he was chatting to the sales assistant about knee injuries and treatments. I said " Have you played a bit of football then ? " He said, " Just a bit ". I replied " Yeah, I saw you play, thanks for the memories ".
McClarky Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Warhurst was a great player. Real shame about the injuries because he could have been a top player if he had stayed fit. Could look class in about 4 different positions.
