Backroom Tom Posted February 2, 2016 Backroom Posted February 2, 2016 Just asked Nixon if he expected Shaw to leave and he said yes. Too demanding for him to show up at Ewood often apparently. We always expect things after they happen

LDRover Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Get in there!!!! Another stench from the Kean era is removed.
Stuart Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Lots of possible wonder ifs but... Wonder if he signed the Rhodes transfer without clearing it with Madame first?
J*B Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Is that the last from the Kean era gone? Can we turn the page and forget all about it?
Stuart Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Much like the Rhodes saga, it all depends now who replaces him.
Spalding Rover Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 should think he got a nice big bonus from the rhodes sale! made for life.
VinjayV4 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 Another good decision from Suhail(sp)? That's what Nixon says.
garnersfags Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I was wondering yesterday, if we had a decent man at the helm, would we, for example have persuaded McGeady to join us, or another target that we didn't hear of? Possibly not, but to meet or hear Derek was an uninspiring experience.
LDRover Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Due to ongoing other business interests Mr. Shaw has found combining the two roles too time-consuming and difficult going forward. Didn't know the shelving business was so demanding. It wasn't when we asked him for a quote, he just didn't turn up.
Backroom DE. Posted February 2, 2016 Backroom Posted February 2, 2016 Much like the Rhodes saga, it all depends now who replaces him. We'd have to be scraping one hell of a barrel to get worse.
dingles staying down 4ever Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 We'd have to be scraping one hell of a barrel to get worse. Step forward Mr. Agnew
Blue Cabbage Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I have a plant pot spare that could probably eclipse his 'work' Joker
jim mk2 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Rhodes' departure one day, Shaw the next. Surely, the two events are connected? Has Madame wielded the axe because he sold Rhodes on the cheap, or even against her wishes? Or was he going anyway? So many questions, but where are the LET reporters from the good old days to provide the answers? One thing is certain - Shaw hasn't left because he's too busy fixing shelves as the PR piece claims - he's been given the boot.
VinjayV4 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 I have a plant pot spare that could probably eclipse his 'work' Joker That's his replacement.
Blue Cabbage Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Step forward Mr. Agnew *Shudder* Forgotten about that name. Jesus, today is quite dreamy compared to where we were (after where we were before anyone happy claps me to death)
BlueMonday Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I'm led to believe that Shaw gave Rhodes directions to Middlesborough, which is why it took 8hrs and nearly d!cked the transfer. M.D.F. - Middlesborough Directions Fecked SEE YA!
sharpysharps Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Great news.....unless everyone's favourite global advisor is about to rock up again
chaddyrovers Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Wonder if the same guy who got the owners to sack Bowyer as recommend to Shaw? Question is who will be in charge of running the club and who will be the new CEO?
dingles staying down 4ever Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Great news.....unless everyone's favourite global advisor is about to rock up again He'll sign Rhodes back for £15 million.
only2garners Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Well this has caught me completely by surprise. I was in a meeting with him and a few others which ended at 16.40 today and there was no suggestion then.
scotty_beam_me_up Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 He gave one of the greatest quotes in football at the Q&A night regarding Leon Best's contract "read it?? Have you seen the size of those contracts?"
LDRover Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Well this has caught me completely by surprise. I was in a meeting with him and a few others which ended at 16.40 today and there was no suggestion then. I daresay you aren't the only one in that meeting who was shocked...
VinjayV4 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 Wonder if the same guy who got the owners to sack Bowyer as recommend to Shaw? Question is who will be in charge of running the club and who will be the new CEO? Yes its down to Suhail Pasha the one guy at Venkys who deserves applause. Don't know who Shaw's replacement will be though been a few jokes about it.
