Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Kean did even answering his fan mail himself Shouldn't there be a comma after " Kean did " ? Just saying.
dingles staying down 4ever Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Kean did even answering his fan mail himself To be fair he wrote it as well
philipl Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Only surprise is the timing and going with immediate effect. I don't believe it is related to the Rhodes transfer and apparently he played a bit of a blinder to make sure Rovers didn't get diddled on that one.
McClarky Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Great news. Now get someone in to restructure the club with some authority to run it properly and we might be going somewhere. Next appointment, if there is one, will speak volumes for the future of our club.
T J Hooker Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 As far as i'm aware myers doesn't have any buisness acumen he's just a front of shop man
Iceman Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Time for an actual fan of the club to take on this role? One of the Ian's perhaps?
den Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Leaves the club because of other business commitments "with immediate affect - on a Tuesday night"? Sounds like a sacking to me.
VinjayV4 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 Will there be an actual chairman again and perhaps a board reshuffle? Seems Myers is the top guy now administration wise (and Suhail Pasha but not sure how often he's at Ewood) so there must be news of a replacement coming. Robert Coar will probably still be on the board though he is 69 now apparently.
T J Hooker Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 being very good at the job is all i care about, its not important who they support

Just to point out they have deleted his name on "who's who" but still kept the title of managing director. http://www.rovers.co.uk/club/whoswho/
West Yorks Rover Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Replacement starts on Monday ........... Ex Norwich..
davulsukur Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Wow, unexpected but welcome news. About time the bumbling idiot left. I wonder who will come in to replace him?
Speedie Dived Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Replacement starts on Monday ........... Ex Norwich.. Get Delia in
JHRover Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Wonder whether the mysterious Gandhi Babu will at long last reveal himself and become our new Chairman?!
McClarky Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 We need someone with experience of running a decent sized club and a track record of doing a good job. Who they support is irrelevant, this is really important. If they just want another administrator to oversee things for them then we can look forward to more inertia. the club needs to be shaken up. It also has to be someone who can sit above PL and be his boss and I very much doubt that Shaw ever did that.
BlueMonday Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 You could say he's gone on... Shaw Leave? No, but he's gone, fo shaw
Backroom DE. Posted February 2, 2016 Backroom Posted February 2, 2016 Wonder whether the mysterious Gandhi Babu will at long last reveal himself and become our new Chairman?! He's got my vote.
VinjayV4 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 He's got my vote. No I believe Babu is usually in India. Totally guessing here but it might be the league's board rules or something like that why he's there. Coar hasn't done much other than speak at one of the AGM's. Wonder if he might take over Shaw's duties briefly if they take their time over a replacement.
T J Hooker Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Replacement starts on Monday ........... Ex Norwich.. wouldn't surprise me if there is Norwich link, who else(aside from delia!) was running the club during Lamberts time there?
Reedy You're A Star Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Silent Bob would be as bad as Shaw. We need someone from outside and someone who knows football.
unsall Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Myers has already combined his role of communications director with commercial director following Dave Biggar's departure. I'm sure one man can't do all the jobs.. That's true,I wasn't suggesting he could do 3 jobs, would mean a new commas guy, think they really want a full time guy running operations like Williams did,not sure if he walked or pushed but not up to the job..
