Backroom DE. Posted February 6, 2016 Backroom Posted February 6, 2016 Agreed. We are only better off if things actually improve. That said, a point at Boro is a good result. Just a shame we are still being happy with a point against a team on paper, rather than the one we have faced on the pitch. FFS PNE winning now. And Bolton.

chaddyrovers Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Paul Wheelock @PaulWheelock now Got to score. Hope Akpan has got to score. Ben Marshall free kick drops to him all alone in the box and he drags wide. #rovers
Husky Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 FFSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AdamRochina Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Akpan misses a sitter?? Oh come on man your killing me haha
Backroom DE. Posted February 6, 2016 Backroom Posted February 6, 2016 Paul Wheelock @PaulWheelock now Got to score. Hope Akpan has got to score. Ben Marshall free kick drops to him all alone in the box and he drags wide. #rovers That's the quality we generally have to work with, sadly. Isn't Akpan something like our joint third top goalscorer as well?
mustard Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Ak-pants. For all the good things he does, he does just as many awful things. One who needs shipping off in summer.
Stuart Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Paul Wheelock @PaulWheelock now Got to score. Hope Akpan has got to score. Ben Marshall free kick drops to him all alone in the box and he drags wide. #rovers I know people don't like hearing it but having to rely on players who don't have an eye for goal worries the hell out of me.
Blue Cabbage Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Ward slices a cross over his own bar 4 mins added on
G Somerset Rover Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I know people don't like hearing it but having to rely on players who don't have an eye for goal worries the hell out of me.Good point that, but shame we couldn't have seen it out. Fulham at home in the week will be the acid test. We need 3 points. Time for Watt and Graham to step up to the plate.
Neal Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Decent result. Shame we didn't get the win but would've taken that before hand.
Blue Cabbage Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Ended 1-1. Most of us would have taken that before the game Onwards and upwards?
chaddyrovers Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 good point Sounds like a really good performance and maybe we should have won. But good progress by Lambert and his team.
Husky Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 All over ém!! Hope for the rest of the (and particularly next) season.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted February 6, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted February 6, 2016 Neal with the nail on the head. Not a bad result with all other things considered. Rotherham getting beat keeps Bolton in touch but we've still a 6 point cushion now. PNE winning not good for rivalry but keeps Huddersfield down there.
tkturner Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Think we would all have taken a draw and no goal for Rhodes before kick off today... Evidence that we can put a performance in by all accounts? Onwards...
Backroom Tom Posted February 6, 2016 Backroom Posted February 6, 2016 Superb point sounds like it could have been more
yoda Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Great result under the circumstances, many on here predicting a stuffing before hand
West Yorks Rover Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Cracking point and sounds like an excellent performance. In Lambert we trust !
Stuart Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Good point that, but shame we couldn't have seen it out. Fulham at home in the week will be the acid test. We need 3 points. Time for Watt and Graham to step up to the plate. Week after isn't it? Hull next at Ewood in 7 days. At some point we are going to have to get a win against the odds. These points aren't enough.
Mercer Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Great result. We've sold our 'star man' and gone to 2nd in the league and put on a real performance and really should have come away with 3 points. I said last week at Oxford was a 'turning point' and I think I'm right. In Lambert we trust.
