In light of the conversations being had about volleys after Vardy's goal the other night, and my inability to find the old great goals thread I'll resurrect it here.

I wasted a good hour today looking at goals on YouTube and saw come brilliant ones.

I particularly liked this one. Amazingly I'd never seen if before.

Without any doubt up there with the best v Fulham from Pederson's corner. Tugay also scored an absolute cracker agains Spurs when Robo was in goal.

Seem to remember when Gamst first joined he gave an interview stating something like he grew up right footed, his father convinced him to start using his left more as it might give him more of a chance to make it in professional football.

Always loved this one from David Bentley.

I was sat in the Riverside, almost in a direct line from where Bents hit it from and where it ended up in the net, so had a great view of it.

The ball seemed to balloon quite a bit after he'd hit it, I thought it was going miles over, doesn't really show that on the footage.

Agreed, to show how hard a shot it was, he was 25-30 yards out, and the keeper has barely begun to move his arm when it hits the net.

Loved that Rovers 7 west ham 1. Trip down memory lane that was. Great side we had then.

Sorry I can't link the clips but I always liked trevor sinclairs over head kick for qpr and phillipe Alberts chip against utd. Also (and I can't spell his name) kinkladze scoring that dribble for citeh.

All said and done, none were a patch on that Tugay goal against spurs.

Best goal I ever witnessed live was le tissiers goal at ewood, dribbles past 2 defenders and just floats the ball over flowers, pure genious!
