Yeah I'll contribute towards banners with accurate things on them. I suspect somehow that the club wouldn't allow "Venkys Out" flags to be kept in storage. I know this sounds completely trivial and pedantic but Jack's flag should have been in the centre.

As for future flags being added to the collection - a new permanent fundraiser will be set up soon via PayPal. This will allow it to remain open indefinitely unlike the previous one!

So please feel free to put forward any idea's or suggestions for what you would like to see on the next flag... it would be nice to get 1 or 2 more ready for the start of next season.

Just for info - the 3 large flags currently in use are 3m x 2m.

I really liked the flags pal especially the small town one.

Out of interest, does anyone remember the large ones passed around in the 90s, what happened to them? Don't really see it in football these days.

I imagine the size to cover a corner of Darwen end empty seats above the rovers fans would cost thousands. Initial thought a silhouette with legends like tugay, potentially get some European support in funding!

Need to get the 'made in Blackburn, destroyed in India' flag up on show.

It beggars belief that there are any fans at all that are pro Venky's.

There is an element of logic in wanting Venky's here for the time being as they continue to pay the bills, but to actually be pro Venky's? It's mind boggling.

A hand made one from four years ago, ruined my dining room table making this, took the sheet off it and the paint had gone straight through lol

As I've pointed out before though its hardly likely staff will be handing out anti-venkys flags. There's little point wasting money on a flag that's likely to be confiscated.

The flag doesn't belong to the club, its owned by an individual/individuals.

The stewards can ask you to leave the ground or not display the flag in question, but they cannot confiscate it I'm sure. But if you're asking the club to store the flag, thats asking a bit much I'd imagine :lol:

If they could why not take your mobile phone, wallet, car keys etc etc....

Has anyone got any good quality pictures of the new flags? I saw a couple of poor quality ones?

I've just tried to upload some .jpg images onto the Gallery section but it keeps coming back with an error.

Can you try again now? Looks like the gallery was still trying to point to the brfcs site which no longer has a gallery!

Flags will be proudly on show again tomorrow.

If anyone fancies popping in the Darwen End for a change, feel free... having a good sing song helps relieve the boredom!

Ben, I thought the flags looked fantastic last week - I took some photos of them from my seat in the Darwen End behind them but have no idea how to upload them from my phone to the messageboard (sorry, comes with being old!).
