Stuart Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Oh dearOh dear oh dear.Graham & Brown up front. There could be a hanging this evening. On a serious note. He's playing with the cards he has been dealt up to this point. Maybe Brown is going to rough them up and tire them out for when Watt and Jackson are brought in as a double act on 72 mins? Who knows. Lambert's biggest game so far. Feed the Brown and he will score! Make a popular phrase using these words.
Oldgregg86 Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Brave or stupid ? I hope he knows what he's doing
G Somerset Rover Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 One thing's for sure given our personnel upfront, and that is Duffy's instructions will be: HOOF!

RevidgeBlue Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Akpan obviously still feeling sick. He's not the only one!.
Blue Cabbage Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Graham and Brown up front. Should paste them! I've only just seen the line up and I was gonna use that one!!!
islander200 Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Lambert has dropped 4 players who under performed. Diamond shape midfield And when have brown and Bennett ever performed?Brings in watt and ward and then drops them after one bad game?Truly baffled that he has started them both
onlyonejackwalker Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Seems to be giving Watt a kick up the **** already. We assumed the Watt, Gomez, Graham axis was going to be the unit that we relied on for creativity. Oh well, time yet. PL has decided to physically create havoc with their centre halfs, allowing Gomez and, err, mmmm, actually there is no one else, to feed off the scraps. He likes a risk, this boy..... Not sure Watt is fully match fit and the games are coming thick and fast.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 After Sat & a long day at work, weather, and going Sunday, can't be arsed....if Brown scores I will be really pleased. If not, I won't. 8,000 on, I will a win.
West Yorks Rover Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I hope you all realise if one goes in off Brown's back side and we win, he'll be permanent fixture until the end of the season.
JAL Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Lambert has dropped 4 players who under performed. Diamond shape midfield How league games have they won with D formation ?
Tallrover Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 We have real issues and Graham and Brown up front it's just papering over the cracks....
TurkishDelightFan Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I predict 1-1, a dull lifeless game.
Tardyrover Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 That's the worst team I've ever seen (on paper) in my 30 years attending Ewood. C O Y B
cesus Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I have no problems with Duffy and Hanley being the centre back partnership as for me it's been one of the very few positives this whole season. Duffy being judged as a defender and not a attacking header of the ball or play maker!
savage90 Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I can't help but think... that's a strong bench... although it might be too late by the time we get to use it.
Presty On Tour Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Make a popular phrase using these words. We sang it at Newport away and to be fair he was doing alright for the few minutes he was on the pitch until the red card. I think he was appreciating some support from the fans and was so pumped which probably was a factor to the challenge he made for the red. To be fair, ability wise he's no Messi and judging by his goal to game ratio, he'd struggle to score in a brothel with a fistful of £50's on this form but I will and always support any player who wears the shirt.
G Somerset Rover Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I predict 1-1, a dull lifeless game. Blimey, you're ambitious. A goal?!
Dean Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I've got long term faith in Lambert, but that formation is asking for trouble. The front six have no width, no pace and there is nobody that can travel with the ball. Not sure what the point of having two traditional strikers is if there is only one player in the team that is likely to be in a position to put in a decent cross.

Never thought of it like that before. Cheers. COYB!
sambo Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 If it's a diamond, will Gomez be deeper or Bennett? Always had Bennett down as a winger? Could be a 4 4 2 with a midfield of Bennett Evans Lenihan Gomez? Not overly pleased with that team.

We could with Robbo back in goal for that forward line, great accuracy with his punts upfield. But who knows maybe it will work for a one off " must win game. "
