VinjayV4 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Some people are saying there's no pressure on Rovers today. Well there's pressure at any club to put in 100% effort first of all. As far as the result there's less pressure but quite a number of fans might not be the "usual crowd" today with the low prices in every section of the stadium. A great win may well be the first spark to greater interest hopefully starting with the 3 match series. There's also pressure as well to "save the season" so to speak. Unless you're seriously worried about relegation. Who knows what Rovers might be looking forward to at 18:15 tonight.
onlyonejackwalker Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Come on Rovers get stuck in. Hoping for similar effort to Fulham, but expecting a low scoring defeat. Rovers 0 - West Ham 1.
ABBEY Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 No score predictions? Going for a 1-2 defeat. 3-0 just put on at 50/1Blowing bubbles ? So was Michael Jackson
LewisF Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I'll go for 2-1 Rovers. Marshall scoring the winner (from open play!) to keep up his FA Cup record this season, and Brown (yes Brown!) with the other. Antonio to bag for them, and Payet to be quiet
chaddyrovers Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Some West Ham fans(around 20 or so) on the train from York to Blackburn.. what time is the game, and which channel? Game on BT Sport. Kick off at 2 pm
VinjayV4 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Some West Ham fans(around 20 or so) on the train from York to Blackburn.. Game on BT Sport. Kick off at 2 pm Real bunch of East End hardnuts be careful...
Blueandwhitemike Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Be interesting to see how the midfield lines up today, I don't expect to see the 2-2 formation that worked so well against Fulham's 3-5-2, will we go back to the diamond or something else? Excited to see it live instead of avoiding the result for a day and watching on Rovers player, hoping Watt plays and plays well, lot of talent in him.
Iceman Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Some West Ham fans(around 20 or so) on the train from York to Blackburn.. Game on BT Sport. Kick off at 2 pm thanks pal
Cherry Blue Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Just past a couple of West Ham coaches on M65. Looking forward to a cracking cup match atmosphere!
Backroom Tom Posted February 21, 2016 Backroom Posted February 21, 2016 Real bunch of East End hardnuts be careful... Are you taking pictures of random people on the train and posting them here or is that someone famous?
oldjamfan1 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Are you taking pictures of random people on the train and posting them here or is that someone famous? If I ever caught anyone randomly photographing me on a train like that I'd randomly shove their phone up their jacksie, bloke is just minding his own business and looking for a decent song on his iphone by the look of things. (The fella actually looks like a mate of mine, Dave Connor, but it can't be otherwise he would have hurled the snapper through the window.)
BlooBoy Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I'll go for 2-1 Rovers. Marshall scoring the winner (from open play!) to keep up his FA Cup record this season, and Brown (yes Brown!) with the other. Antonio to bag for them, and Payet to be quiet Marshall 9/2 to score ANYTIME at Betfair. Worth a punt Lewis with Penno duties
Doug Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Heard the attendance will be around 20k which isn't bad considering weather and TV. Hope there's a lot of pay on the day fans. Got my fingers crossed for 23K. Come on Rovers today, give me a bit of ammo for the Burnley fan at work tomorrow!!
Give 'Em the Axe Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Vinjay. Is he a 'hard nut' because he's got a shaved head or did he actually do anything to deserve your 'be careful' warning? Furtively taking a pic of someone you don't know and then posting it on the net is skeevy in the extreme, man. Anyway, today's game. I think West Ham will have too much attacking quality for us and I can't see us winning. I'll be happy if we go down fighting, mind. I think a heavy defeat would be detrimental to any momentum we're hoping to build.

Would be a bit pointless when I'm already in Blackburn unless I had some odd superstition or something.
oldjamfan1 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Guy who took it claims its Phil Mitchell. He bears no more than a passing resemblence to the fella that plays Phil Mitchell. As do most 50 something bald blokes (myself incuded). 'The guy' is lucky he didn't get twatted for doing that.
Give 'Em the Axe Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Vinjay, my apologies in that case.

bubblerrovers Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Any rovers fans coming to the game? Even the BB end and fanzone is full of Hammers fans? Come on rovers
Oldgregg86 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 1-1 and lose the replay. Still hope I'm wrong. COYB
chaddyrovers Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Cheers RR. Where's the parking at the ground Chaddy? Opposite the ground. Alan Shearer way
chaddyrovers Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 No Hanley, Spurr, Gomez or Evans in the team. ROVERS: Steele, Marshall, Duffy, Ward ©, Henley, Bennett, Lenihan, Akpan, Conway, Taylor, Brown Subs: Raya (GK), Kilgallon, Hanley, Watt, J. Gomez, Evans, Jackson Looking like Taylor playing off Brown. Going for 1 nil Rovers with Brown scoring
