Hasta Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I still can't believe people applaud Andy Todd for kicking Duggary all those years ago, he cost us the match that day! Much more petulant than any other Rovers red card I've ever seen! Bothroyd at Norwich was on a similar level of stupidity.

rog of the rovers Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Bothroyd at Norwich was on a similar level of stupidity. Agreed. I never liked Todd/Bothroyd after those incidents. The Todd elbow on van Persie summed him up, absolute thug.

Have you read Big Sam's autobiography? He put Phil Brown in hospital too because he was slagging his dad off. Not a flicker of remorse. Though Phil Brown does have a face that you'd love to slap.
G Somerset Rover Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Andy Todd is exactly the sort of player that our club could do with at the moment.
sambo Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Andy Todd is exactly the sort of player that our club could do with at the moment. True. We need one or two nasty pieces of work, for want of a better phrase. I think this is most apparent in centre midfield. Our players now aren't exactly the most tough tackling, and I'd love us to have someone who can let the opposition know they're in a game.
