Bit poor from you, Abbey (as you frequently post about your hatred for all things PNE- AND IVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THAT)

Fans who dish things out should be able to take things in return(a general point, about all fans being touchy and offended as soon as a player does or says anything against their team.)

Garner is simply firing himself and his supporters up (for their cup final).

Imagine his disappointment come 14:20pm on Saturday.

theres firing up and chatting @#/?.

To say nobbers will have more fans than us is bullshit.

The way he cockly wound or tried to wind rovers players up at dumpdale means i have no qualms in saying what i said and its far from poor.

Hopefully his trash talk fires up our players and fans a bit and he becomes the 'darling' of Ewood for 95 mins on Sat. Well 3 sides of it anyway. Our crowd can be good when it's fired up so I hope he keeps talking.

Come on Abbey - you know that there will be at least 20k PNE fans in the home ends :glare:

Looking forward to this game - with the well earned rest, lets hope the players are up for a big performance and put these local rivals back in their place.

'Everyone knows Leyland is white, that just shows how much **** they talk'. 'There are more lashers there than plastics and there are only 3 lashers'.

It's nice to know they are still obsessively looking in and quoting posts :)

Anyway being honest given it's close proximity to the big city Leyland damn well should be white. Good job as well because Preston isn't, it's red, red, sky blue...........oh and used to be blue & white

Have you moved den?

No Rovers fans in Leyland.

There are plenty of rovers fans in Leyland Matty. There are also plenty of northenders in Leyland as well, - which you would expect given that we are nearer to Preston than Blackburn. Local bus routes are focussed to Preston rather than Blackburn in Leyland as well. The real question is - how many of these Leyland northenders actually go on Deepdale? Answer, not many. Their home attendances over the years tell you that not many Preston based Northend fans actually go on Deepdale either.

But this is the thing with 'em - I've lived amongst them nearly all my life. Not at any time have any of them wanted to talk about rovers success. All they ever had to say was "if we were in your position in the league, we'd get bigger gates". That's ALL of 'em, even those fans that had never stepped on a football ground in their life. They just grew up with it, they take it as fact - even though their attendances have as far as I can remember, virtually always been below ours. Yes, we've been above 'em in the league for possibly 95% of the time since the early sixties, but there you go, they don't talk about football. Told all of you about this before, but now you can see for yourselves. We've had quite a few PNE posters on here over the years, - how many have wanted to talk football? None.

You can post that on yer Northend forum as well.

He's obviously not very well tuned in because Garner said those quotes a week ago on the Preston site.

It's only the LT that has picked them up in the last day.

That's exactly what I heard off them pre jack when I had the misfortune to work amongst an older lot of them in my first job. Obsessed with Rovers gates/away followings because they happened to be going well briefly. Only ever mentioned Blackpool when they talked about scrapping, never football.

Then lived in Clayton le Woods and went in a few pubs around there, mostly populated by so called Nobbers but genuinely barely a one who ever set foot on the place. The number of times I heard 'i'll get a ST if they go up to the Prem' from lads crowded around the box watching Sat eve Prem games. A very odd lot who seem to claim browny points over their rivals whilst sitting in the woodwork.

No Rovers fans in Leyland.

They call us plastics because of the north-end fans who started to go to Ewood in the 90's, theres the traditional burial ceremony in Bamber Bridge which is closer to Preston than Leyland.....but theres no Rovers fans in Leyland....that's some logic there.

This from a bunch of supporters who are taking more fans to their big away day, than they get at their own ground most weeks.

Personally Im looking forward to the game, hopefully the rest will have helped a few knocks and tiredness, and we'll play as well as we have been doing for the past few home games.

The very definition of 'Plastics'
