joey_big_nose Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 we wondered who is going to replace Rhodes goals. maybe Gomez? Already looking like he could get a dozen by the end of the season.

Backroom Tom Posted February 27, 2016 Backroom Posted February 27, 2016 What a bloody win that is Don't care how that's massive
Backroom DE. Posted February 27, 2016 Backroom Posted February 27, 2016 Insane that we made such hard work of the MK Dons at home, but a win is a win. Henley is giving Lambert every reason to get rid in the summer, though he'll need to drop a division or two to get to his true level. Brown similarly sounded awful, hopefully he'll be shown the door in the summer too. Must sign Gomez if at all possible in the summer. Fantastic player, a proper difference maker.
matt83 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Gomez only player left with any class (at this level). Starting with Brown may as well start with 10 men Henley came on May as well have 9 if both on yogether
onlyonejackwalker Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Some embarrassing posts on this thread at one nil down. Certainties for relegation apparently. Well done to all concerned. Brilliant. No easy games when under pressure for a result and the home fans getting restless. Another three goals. Dynamite. Eeieeieeiooo...
Backroom Tom Posted February 27, 2016 Backroom Posted February 27, 2016 I said at half time Lambert had to show his worth - that will do it Mr Manager!
Husky Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I was doing my Gomez jig and then Leicester scored so I did a bit of an extra one......
Neal Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Starting Brown is not justified on any level in my opinion... He's a complete embarrassment of a footballer. I'm not the sort who would boo him or anything, no player should be treated like that for giving their all but the lad is the worst player i've seen in my lifetime as a Rovers fan. Jordi Gomez is a premiership standard player, this is the calibre of player we should be looking to bring in if we want to do anything next season.
Rover_Shaun Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I was only thinking earlier this week when the last time it was that we scored a late winner
West Yorks Rover Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I was only thinking earlier this week when the last time it was that we scored a late winner Nice to send the fans home happy and 6 goals in last 2 home league games.

Elliott Bennett seems to be improving recently as well. A shame that his improvement has coincided with Conway's noticeable decline.
Neal Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Was good to see Bennett getting himself a goal, though he's looked pretty decent recently and slowly seems to be getting better.
West Yorks Rover Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Elliott Bennett seems to be improving recently as well. A shame that his improvement has coincided with Conway's noticeable decline. Reporter on radio said his goal was a cracking shot.
onlyonejackwalker Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I was only thinking earlier this week when the last time it was that we scored a late winner Yes and winning from behind is very pleasing. Signs of a good team spirit and a bit of belief and bottle.
Backroom Tom Posted February 27, 2016 Backroom Posted February 27, 2016 Henley and the entire rovers crowd were terrified when he came on - we need a way to avoid him playing. That should be the end of the Brown experiment, the worst thing that happened was him getting a chance it mortified him. Very good against Fulham but woeful today.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted February 27, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted February 27, 2016 Bennett's goal was well taken and he's improved a lot recently. I hope Marshall is back for Tuesday, Henley really struggled when he came on.
sambo Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Thank God (Jordi Gomez) for that! Big win and finally showing a bit of battle and fight from a losing position.
koi Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 In all seriousness you could put Henley and Brown in Lg 2 and they wouldn't look out of place.
Waggy76 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 In all seriousness you could put Henley and Brown in Lg 2 and they wouldn't look out of place. Maybe for Henley but Brown is North West Counties level .......
