Dunnfc Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 For the first time I really think its pointing to relegation unless this improves drastically I'd be inclined to agree. Once your in a rut it's difficult to get out whilst a particular mindset gets ingrained.
Husky Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Rotherham pegged back 1-1 Alan Judge again. Charlton losing 1-3 Exactly why I'm not in the least bit concerned about going down. As I've said before, there are 5-6 appalling teams in this division and though they may occasionally get a result - there's little chance any of them will suddenly go on a consistently good run and pretty much no chance that 3 of them will do so. It's frustrating - especially for those with season tickets (and I've been there) - but this season has always been about next season.
AdamRochina Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Excuses stop now. This sounds utter dreadfull
USABlue Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 We are going to lose this one aren't we? We will follow this up with 2 good performances but losing efforts against Boro and the Dingles then we are firmly in the mire. Why do we do this just NO consistency at all.
Husky Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Backroom DE. Posted February 27, 2016 Backroom Posted February 27, 2016 Exactly why I'm not in the least bit concerned about going down. Unless we get absolutely MASSIVE investment I can only see next season going one way.
Amo Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Everyone still confident we're staying up? We're 7pts off the drop with two games in hand. We'll be FINE.
Backroom Tom Posted February 27, 2016 Backroom Posted February 27, 2016 Ok for 10-15 minutes then dreadful Lambert has to show his worth now
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted February 27, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted February 27, 2016 That was an absolutely gash half. Some of these reactionary posts are still OTT though. 7 points outside bottom three with far superior goal difference.
barry_ Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I cannot understand the lack of intebt, no desire to win the ball. A midfield full of Akpan type players. Chris Brown is a disgrace. Not one of these players are fit to wear the shirt. The management team is starting to look a poor bunch, who have no idea how to get the team to play. Another 45 mins of this 😢😢😢😢
Backroom DE. Posted February 27, 2016 Backroom Posted February 27, 2016 6 goals in 11 games... laughable.
West Yorks Rover Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Alan Biggs Talksport at the game, not very complimentary, to say the least of Brown's 2 misses.
Backroom Mike E Posted February 27, 2016 Backroom Posted February 27, 2016 I'm @#/? off now. Sort it out Lambo!
barry_ Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 It's frustrating - especially for those with season tickets (and I've been there) - but this season has always been about next season. the problem with thst id the players don't care about this season and we are sliding into the mire.
Husky Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Unless we get absolutely MASSIVE investment I can only see next season going one way. Well yeah, next season will be another matter............. Possibly getting beaten by Wigan instead of Bolton.
rovers11 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Dreadful, simply dreadful. Horrific group of players this is. Still think we'll get a draw though. Bring on Watt at ht. Still think Paul Lambert is the man to move us forward, but he's done a very poor job so far.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Exactly why I'm not in the least bit concerned about going down. As I've said before, there are 5-6 appalling teams in this division and though they may occasionally get a result - there's little chance any of them will suddenly go on a consistently good run and pretty much no chance that 3 of them will do so. That's naive thinking at best....WE ARE one of those appalling teams!
Amo Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 That was an absolutely gash half. Some of these reactionary posts are still OTT though. 7 points outside bottom three with far superior goal difference. Reactive, not reactionary. Reactionary is a political term for conservatism.
LDRover Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Brown looking like the archetypal alehouse footballer today.
Husky Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 That's naive thinking at best. I'll give you 10-1 if you want to place a friendly bet.
yorkblue Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Judging by the way the team have aimlessly wandered out for the second half we could be in for more of the same. Still... We live in hope.
sambo Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Lambert has to prove himself. Lose today and I'll be in the 'don't care if he stays or goes' camp. Against a team with a dreadful away record too. Must win.
TonyM Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Have such great memories of the 74-75 season in Div 3 , League 1 here we come .....
