Mike Graham Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 What a dreadful dreadful shirt. It looks like someone has been sick over the shoulder.
Stuart Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 I'm trying to put my finger on what is wrong with it. The yellow D looks out of place and it's too dark.
Blue Cabbage Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Umbro To Be Kit Manufacturers Next Season... Are the 'owners' going to be here next season?
donnermeat Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 I really like that. Even better than the turquoise away 'zebra claims' one from a couple of years ago, which I thought was great.
alexanders Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Nice. Best away shirt ever? Very well might be. Im getting it!
A cup of beans Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 That shirt it beautiful. Shame we won't have a team befitting to wear it.
blueboy3333 Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Anybody who doesn't like that shirt is a massive end of a bell. I've been drinking all day and all of the night. Ray Davies. Englands finest ever songwriter. breeze blows leaves of a musty coloured yellow... We are the Rovers
AllRoverAsia Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Ukrainian Actual picture of the new shirt. Link to the page: http://www.roverstore.co.uk/away-kit/mens/1002_Rovers-1617-Adult-away-Shirt.html Someone has taken an old dark piece of cloth and messed it up. That link is to a lost page - theres hope yet!

savage90 Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 There's probably a reason Marshall was modelling the home kit and now not the away. Pretty good kit though, I'll probably buy that one. It's different.
Baz Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Is it black, or a really dark blue? Either way, have to say I quite like it. Still think we are missing a obvious marketing ploy of being the team that plays in halves home and away, but it definitely better than some of those yellow monstrosities we've had in the past.

Still think we are missing a obvious marketing ploy of being the team that plays in halves home and away, but it definitely better than some of those yellow monstrosities we've had in the past. I think its a very dark blue, bordering on black. Going to wait and see from those who purchased, what the actual colour it is.
A cup of beans Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Reminds me a lot of this one. I do like it though. That must be a rarity. A match action photograph where Andrews isn't pointing. I don't even think he'd get in our midfield nowadays.
blueboy3333 Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 That must be a rarity. A match action photograph where Andrews isn't pointing. I don't even think he'd get in our midfield nowadays. There are the beginnings of a point on his left hand
AllRoverAsia Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Is it just me but I think it looks awful and the pale yellow puckeable.
donnermeat Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 That must be a rarity. A match action photograph where Andrews isn't pointing. I don't even think he'd get in our midfield nowadays. Or running round like a pigeon.
Iceman Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Or running round like a pigeon. We already have Andrews replacement in Lowe
Al Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 We already have Andrews replacement in Lowe Wait till you see Greer.
sambo Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 That shirt's brilliant, will definitely be buying one!
Iceman Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 So has anybody picked one up yet? Im thinking, but want to know if any other place will sell them
Hanks Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I went to the Club shop at Dinnertime and someone had done a smash and grab on the new away shirt, its not due for sale until Thursday I think.
rog of the rovers Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 The more I see the shirt, the more convinced I am that I'll buy one, particularly with the ST discount. A 3rd kit will be needed. This may be the red shirt we saw leaked a few weeks ago, although once again, I wouldn't be surprised if that was a kit that was thrown together at the last minute (as I suggested last week). Derby had three bespoke kits last season, I would suspect we'll want the same. If it is the red shirt/kit, then I'd think it would be available on limited release, like the white with navy pinstripes shirt from the 2012/13 season. By my reckoning, the 3rd Kit will definitely be needed 8 times, including the first away game of the season at Wigan. Guide Home - Blue and White Away Aston Villa - Home (possibly Blue shorts). Barnsley - Home (possibly Blue shorts). Birmingham - 3rd Kit Brentford - Away A lot of white on this year's Brentford shirt) Brighton & Hove Albion - 3rd Kit Bristol City - Home Burton Albion - Home Cardiff City - 3rd Kit Derby County - Away (possibly White shorts) Fulham - Away (possibly White shorts) Huddersfield Town - Away Ipswich Town - 3rd Kit Leeds United - Away Newcastle United - Home Norwich City - Home Nottingham Forest - Home (possibly Blue shorts) Preston North End - Away with White shorts Queen's Park Rangers - 3rd Kit Reading - 3rd Kit Rotherham United - Home (possibly Blue shorts) Sheffield Wednesday - 3rd Kit Wigan Athletic - 3rd Kit Wolverhampton Wanderers - Home With that said, the Navy kit would only be used 6 times. 2 times less than the 3rd kit, meaning I think we'll likely see the Navy strip used instead of the Blue n White, even though there is no obvious colour clash. E.g. Don't be surprised to see the Navy strip at Nottingham, Barnsley, Rotherham, Bristol City and/or Aston Villa.
