yoda Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 So how many people voted for the ditherer May? I'd guess the same amount of people that voted for the Con-Lib Dem coalition. If May is a ditherer, what is Corbyn ?

den Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 The B of E today says they see no evidence of a sharp downturn in the economy, un employment down a further 54k as well in todays figures, lowest un employment in 12 years I think was the comment Yes economy in good shape. Everyone who wants a job can have one. So it just makes me wonder why half the electorate were so gullible to the leave lies.
yoda Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 Yes economy in good shape. Everyone who wants a job can have one. So it just makes me wonder why half the electorate were so gullible to the leave lies. You mean more than half, Maybe the stay side were not convincing enough, that is a better place to vent your spleen, try starting with Corbyn. Project fear was never going to work on the British people anyway

Project fear was never going to work on the British people anyway Project fear and project lie worked well enough on many Yoda. Well 51% of em anyway. However, the argument of how well the economy is doing now is an argument for remain, rather than an argument for a total leap in the dark.
MCMC1875 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Yes economy in good shape. Everyone who wants a job can have one. So it just makes me wonder why half the electorate were so gullible to the leave lies. To paraphrase Bill Clinton den: Its immigration/sovereignty/security stupid!

But remain no longer exist, they have deceased, exited stage left, curled their toes, gone to the remain play field in the sky, You sound like a loosing football team blaming the winning team because you lost ! Get over it, time to move on and make it work, It was nearly 52% by the way
jim mk2 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Yes economy in good shape. Everyone who wants a job can have one. So it just makes me wonder why half the electorate were so gullible to the leave lies. .... because it's all about "immigration" - didn't you know den? Get over it, time to move on and make it work, It was working very well - it's a case of damage limitation now.
yoda Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 .... because it's all about "immigration" - didn't you know den? It was working very well - it's a case of damage limitation now. In what way and for whom ?
den Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 .... because it's all about "immigration" - didn't you know den? course it is Jim. It's always been about those nasty foreigners. But seeing that the brexiteers have now been told that we're unlikely to have too much control over immigration, none of em apparently wanted that anyway. So if we won't have control over immigration and the economy is doing fine anyway, what on earths going on? It was nearly 52% by the way Lol, massive!

jim mk2 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 In what way and for whom ? For us of course, that's the whole point of this debate.
yoda Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 For us of course, that's the whole point of this debate. I think being freed from the Bilderberg clan should be uplifting, surprised that you are still supporting them to be honest
jim mk2 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 And I think Brexit is more like a national suicide mission. I'm surprised you can't see the damage it has already caused and will continue to cause for future generations.
yoda Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 And I think Brexit is more like a national suicide mission. I'm surprised you can't see the damage it has already caused and will continue to cause for future generations. Stop whining and do something positive for once
jim mk2 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 "There are none so blind as those who will not see"
yoda Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 "There are none so blind as those who will not see" Exactly my point Jim, make things happen, you will feel better for it
jim mk2 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Why mend what doesn't need fixing ? The EU is not the cause of this country's problems - they lie entirely in Westminster with the fools who are running the country and a constiution that needs wholeale reform. By leaving the EU we've given ourselves a whole host of unnecessary problems that will take a generation to unravel, and made ourselves poorer in the process. All's not lost though - the vote is only advisory and parliament could throw it out.

jim mk2 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Maybe or hopefully not - we shall see. BTW, all across Europe support for the EU has risen sharply since the Brexit vote. Europeans have looked at the anarchy and chaos here since June 23 and decided they don't want to go down the same road. Brexit contagion - that's another of your pet theories down the pan.
Al Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 .... because it's all about "immigration" - didn't you know den? It was working very well - it's a case of damage limitation now. It's working brilliantly. ISAs now up £3.5 grand since the referendum. Pound recovering against the Euro. What more could I ask for?

Al Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 It's actually a source of amusement for me to watch Jim squirm with bitterness. He's the epitome of a bad loser
