Faultless, not sure what your obsession is with him.

The second goal was the fault of Lenihan ( I think). Akpan is never going to catch the guy who scored and Lenihan has to go across and intercept. He could have got to the scorer before he entered the box but stayed central and just watched as the guy ran to almost 6 yards out.

Yep I feel like maybe I was too harsh on Steele for the second, he should have been quicker but he may not have got there

Just for once, you tell us. Crack on you went.

Not present M' Lord.

Do you think I'm going to waste my time and money to watch Chris Brown play Bob ?

Good stuff Tom M !

Steele should have saved that shot. I was right behind it. Brad would have done.

I just don't get this one; lenihan doesn't usually back off but he did this time round at our most crucial point.

Worst game iv seen him play for us hopefully will be a big learning curve and he'll come back better as he does have great potential in my view

I think Lenihan was caught in two minds whether to close down or track the runner into the box, and hoped that Akpan would catch up with him.

there a surprise

plus Chris Brown didn't play and if you had been present at the game you would have know that he didn't play

Was he dropped from the squad ?

Why walk on to have the misfortune of watching probably the worst striker in the division playing for your team doesn't make sense.

Don't get Chris brown; he totally ignores the fans when they clap him when he's warming up.. A great way of not affiliating yiurself to the fans when the opportunity arises

The club apologists on here are most probably trying to plant the seed in your mind that Chris Brown has something to offer when he clearly hasn't anything to offer Blackburn Rovers at all.

Let's see what the summer brings.

How @#/? must our Academy be if we can't produce anyone better than Chris Brown?

Rovers academy seems to focus on team shape more than forwards though the best lads in this region tend to be snapped up by Man City who are buying everything, in that Man United's academy is in bits.

Not angry about today at all. Disappointed at the result yes, but I'm more than happy with what I'm seeing. At the beginning of this season I saw a club where everything was wrong. The owners seemingly backing a coach/manager who forever talked the fans ambitions down. A coach/manager who brought in any player that he could sign whether they fit in with our style of play (what style of play?) or not. Another season of hoofing the ball from back to front to a player who couldn't cope with it and didn't want to be here. Another season of watching minimal possession football played sideways and backwards at a snails place.

Now, we see owners appointing a real manager because they seemingly got sick of what was happening. We have an experienced management team who believe we can get promoted and who desperately want us promoted. We have a manager who knows the way we were playing had no future and went about changing it. We have a manager who will bring in a player to fit in with a plan, a way of playing which is exactly right.

So basically we've gone from everything at the club being wrong, to much of what we've got now being exactly right - and at the beginning of this season I would have settled for that.

Totally agree. Think we still lack a bit of leadership in midfield but hopeful he will address this in the summer.

He's done that ever since he came here, noticed it in one of his first games when he'd put a shift in and got a great applause when subbed but he just trudged off. Thing is he's had stick everywhere he's been so he probably just cocoons himself automatically but he's never going to win the fans over like that.

Hopefully he'll be gone in summer so he's welcome to slag us off if he wants as he really won't be hard to replace.

Weird really the pitch has been fine then today it was noticeably terrible.

Looked disgraceful. Perhaps the groundsman used some dodgy weedkiller on it or something. Rovers have won best pitch awards in the past (97 or 98, 99-2000 if I recall right) but even under the previous groundsman it certainly had dodgy periods before and after. If it isn't down to laziness then what's the issue? Highbury never seemed to have a bad pitch it was always consistently good far as I can recall.

Still fairly upbeat despite the defeat yesterday.

You can see what PL is trying to do - and I agree with his assessment that we deserved at least a draw. TBH if we had taken advantage of the time prior to their goal - when we were totally dominant we would have won convincingly IMO - but goals change matches as this one very much proved.

As many have stated - the games did catch up with us - the work rate was still remarkably high but the sharpness and delivery in the final third was sadly missing at times.

On the whole defensively we looked sound - though their first goal was poor. Lenihan made a bad decision for their second goal - and looked a little jaded at times.

Gomez, again worked hard, but the last few matches have made me wonder whether he is the answer to our lack of creativity in midfield. Bennett was ok IMO - though surprised at his MOM.

Graham again looked good - holding the ball up well and playing the channels. Watt is somewhat of an enigma - only ever plays for 60 minutes - threatens so much but only rarely delivers - hopefully he will improve.

With two matches again next week - would like to see him rest a number of the players on show yesterday for Tuesday's match.

Rest ? Haha that's what the time in between is for .

Like some said on here earlier imagine if they had to go old school and play good Friday , Easter Saturday AND Easter Monday !

Makes me laugh we live in an age of modern science and fitness yet the likes of Garner lasted better on beer n fags .

What the game cruelly showed is our inconsistency and that's why, despite us being better than the likes of Burnley and middlesbro over the two games, we are not vying for promotion. Bowyers lack of tactical nouse is to blame as it is in the mindset of the current squad who are trying to break free of his mundane tactics.

Leniham should have closed the leeds player for goal 2 instead of running towards to goal.

The defence are guilty for letting Bamba score the first goal.

The midfield were non existent.

The crossing was woeful.

But, that's it for now, We must press on as we have yet another game on Tuesday. Lets save t for next season because as someone (Ellison) said earlier, I have seen enough to see we are going to be in the mix big time next season

If anything after some great recent results and a top performance the other night ( which could have swung so different but for a shocking ref) yesterday proved more than ever that we are light years away from the top six

It was a battle between two labouring mid table sides at best both devoid of any quality whatsoever

Steele been criticised in recent months but again he made a top draw save Bennett has come on and had a decent game was the other shining light for me and for Leeds the lad at centre forward had a cracker bullying our midfield/ defenders

In a all honesty it was two sides probably too good to go down but in need of major surgery to be anywhere near challenging

Gomez is a luxury player and possibly not the answer

Graham holds the ball up but needs someone to feed off him and score as a strikers live and die by putting the ball in the net

what's his wages can see his agent punting him around so he could possibly be out our price range is he the answer?

Watt definitely has talent needs it nurturing

I can't blame anybody for refusing to pay good money when there is a good chance they will have to watch Chris Brown. Probably cuts several hundred off the gate.
