Kee and McConville on their way out of Stanley.

Will need some masterful recruitment to keep them in League 1 now.

Where's that from?

Big increase in the playing budget for AS this season. Still 2nd lowest in the league though.

Their friendly gets a story on the BBC website. Great PR as always by Holt.

Holt is the anti-Waggott.

One is all about growing the fanbase by engaging the local community.

The other is about increasing revenue by growing commercial partnerships. And selling tickets. To the same people who always buy them.

Burmley have already overtaken us - entirely down to Venkys and their poor administrators. How long before Accy are level?

They've managed to let Burnley and Preston catch/overtake us on the pitch and at this rate it won't be long before they surpass us off it. Some people call it the circle of life, I call it incompetence and negligence. Accy will never catch us as a club but having an owner who cares and wants his club to improve is more important than writing off big losses from India every year.

Burnley already have surpassed us, one of the most valuable brands in Europe thanks to the university links.

All built on Sky money though. One relegation and it's all gone. In terms of infrastructure, facilities, profile a long way to go.

Regardless of what division we’re in and what division they’re in they will always live in our shadow.
