You think they are that fickle that lowering the prices would entice them back ? If the club where smart it's the kind of thing they'd be doing to counter a boycott and also soften the blow of closing sections. What better way to compact people into the ground than reduce the allocation then actually try and fill it up. 6/7k STs at these reasonable prices or 12k+ at Huddersfield prices and a better atmosphere. Bearing in mind we are likely to sell more players and appoint a low budget manager I'd say it's the least they could do to stop the rot. It could even have been dressed up as a big gesture by the owners. Somehow I actually think they are now revelling in their hated status it gives them license to do what they please.

From what i see many supporters drink that before a game . Its all about value. ST sales will tell the story.

Not really. It was a TV spectacle, sure, but in terms of impact there was none. Kean wasn't sacked, the squad got weaker and Venky's remained as stubborn as ever. The only time the fans have had any real impact is when Shebby was accepting transfer advice from the Action Group and we bought Jordan Rhodes. Oh, and hitting Desai's husband with a snowball.

Under 8's are free in the family Stand and would cost £60 in the JW Upper (and all other areas). It's Hobson's Choice for anybody who wants to take advantage of the free U8 ticket. It is another nail in the coffin and the decision makers (whoever they may be) should hang their heads in shame at the way they are treating customers and dressing it up like they are doing us a favour. Shame on you Blackburn Rovers.
AllRoverAsia Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 The BBE upper is to be empty? I wonder if it will be when the Toon hordes invade or will the Club seize a commercial opportunity? NOT that I want them too btw but with an accountant in charge at Ewood ..............

tomphil Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 A crafty move..... charge Toon fans £40 a ticket in the DE upper, open BBE end upper to home fans at that price. Obviously no one will buy any but it justifies charging the toon - bingo !

If you have a look back at my recent posts - I may not get a ST as I recently lost my job - so I am the last person to have a go at any fans not attending because of their personal circumstances.

Speedie Dived Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 If we were on the same team as our owners and they had marketed a promotion push then the season tickets are probably fairly priced. But with constant references to cost cutting, unknown manager, board and players it's yet another own goal to annoy the people who will be here long after our pathetic excuse for owners have slumped off.

They've done that every season. Despite not properly backing the only actual manager we've had and selling everything of value each year.

And didn't back it up with investment in the playing staff. Majority of sane people knew we were not going up last year. The prices were not raised last year though, they have been this year and we are cutting back costs everywhere.
Mike Graham Posted May 20, 2016 Author Posted May 20, 2016 An employee at Rovers told me they are considering constructing a number of "sex pods" to replace the Riveside and BBE Upper. These will be available at £10 per half hour (a 5 minute version will be available for Abbey) so bored fans can have some fun and frolics rather than watch the game. The aim to attract a new cadre of fans who are more interested in illicit bonking rather than our present fan base who have already been well and truly f**ked over. It will be announced on Monday.

First of all whoever sent out those series of tweets on Tuesday which attempted to throw poor Savio under the bus needs to be bought to task, they sounded as though they were tweeting on behalf of all of the other members and were uncomfortable to read especially as Savio was really responding to something that had already been posted on this forum. This was then further compounded by the tweet suggesting that a full consultation would take place with affected fans which was clearly not the case and I know people at the club are not happy about this. These issues need to be dealt with properly as otherwise the forum will lose credibility with the fans and the club. This whole moving the family stand issue has been handled extremely badly by the club but it just is another example of the totally disfunctional executive structure at Ewood Park. Until we don't get that sorted out it does not matter who we hire as manager as the club cannot move forward. The tweets the other day where bad, and as well as basically having a go at a fellow FF member, apologised to the club at the same time. Then last night the person I believe posted those tweets, removed them due to it giving people a 'reason to moan' (not that they where awful, and factually incorrect). He then went on his personal twitter feed and made a series of posts in support of the club, and having a go at anyone who was directly affected, thought it was badly handled by the club etc. Within a few minutes of me posting that persons name on here, and asking him to resign from the fans forum for not representing the fans, and belittling them he deleted his tweets and didnt reply.

Was that the one saying (paraphrasing and leaving out choice words) people moaning about season ticket prices can FO, get behind the team and forget the past, and if he was in charge of the club none of them would get away tickets ? I thought it was part of a recruitment drive , blessed by Madame
Rover_Shaun Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 The Fans Forum has had its day. A relic of a bygone era. An irrelevant quango

Rover_Shaun Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Would I be correct in the assumption that said individual has courted controversy on here in the past with his posts from his base in La La Land?
