Woke up and got that oh crap got to go to work feeling about today not great on the basis I supposedly do this for enjoyment. So will reluctantly head to the train station where ridiculously it takes longer to get from Clitheroe to Preston as it does from Preston to Wolverhampton.

To be fair it's 5 mins quicker from Clith-preston which takes 1hr10 then Preston-Wolverhampton which takes 1hr15. Not a lot in it. Took me an eternity to get from Leeds to Manc the other day. Must be this northern powerhouse I keep hearing about.

Northern Powderpuff more it. It is all about Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool.

The 12.17 from Preston gets in at 13.33

Enjoy :-)

Some bad news for those of us travelling down today.

There was only one magpie on the lawn this morning (usually there's two).

One for sorrow, two for joy etc

4 in the field next to us, no idea what that means Aggy!

With everything that is going on off the pitch I'd almost forgotten there was a match today! I normally enjoy the trip to Wolves but not going today.

As for the magpies, there were 13 in a field near our house a couple of days ago - what the hell does that mean ? The world has gone mad ? total confusion ? Everything out of control? everyone waiting for guidance from above ? Venkys in charge ?

Ward or Duffy today?

Difficult choice for Lambert given how well Ward has played recently.

We need one of them on the bench in case Hanley gets sent off.

Ward has certainly stepped up to the plate. It's a tough one
