[Archived] Wolves Away - 9Th April

Recommended Posts

With everything that is going on off the pitch I'd almost forgotten there was a match today! I normally enjoy the trip to Wolves but not going today.

As for the magpies, there were 13 in a field near our house a couple of days ago - what the hell does that mean ? The world has gone mad ? total confusion ? Everything out of control? everyone waiting for guidance from above ? Venkys in charge ?

13 Magpies ? uhmm its a sign, just stuck a fiver on Chris Brown scoring today

Is Akpan injured? Surely better than Williamson?

Its close between those two. Akpan better in the opposition box but his defending is awful.

Surprised Lowe is starting after such a long break thought he might get 30 mins in second half to see how he gets on.

I'm surprised he's starting. He's sure to need subbing at some point. Another Saturday afternoon ruined no doubt.

i wonder if Lowe will play right back with Marshall further up the field maybe on the left wing with Gomez in the hole and Bennett on the right

Kilgallon at left back?

gone for Graham for the 1st goal

I think it is anyone's guess as to the formation - three at the back even ?

Playing Lowe at right back would make sense in terms of his match sharpness.

With Kilgallon in the side I wonder if we are going three at the back. If so who is the left wingback?

More likely Killgallon at orthodox left back since Spurr is absent.

Despite being a target for the boo boys it's good to see Lowey back.

Not the best player but going from his past interviews he comes across as a natural in front of the camera and he on his day can be one of the leader types! Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up being a coach etc in the future.

1-0 Lowey daisycutter.

Sounds like 3 at the back, maybe Marshall and Grimes as the wing backs ?

My impression of him in midfield is an head less chicken running around to no great effect. At right back he's decent.

If it were a back 3 then surely Ward would have played over Killa? If Killa is LB I'd be very worried about his lack of pace.
