Not sure how much more Lambert is going to put up with this. Think he should be doing better but each passing game is eroding what remains of his reputation. Are we about to see operation damage limitation ?

I do understand your viewpoint, even if I slightly disagree. Venkys are the problem, and whilst I think Lambert should be getting more out of them he still has his hands tied behind his back.

The managers in the press asking for funds, the owners are nowhere to be seen or heard, we have no chairman, players contracts are running down, all this has a negative impact and we're seeing it.

I'd give those idiots in Pune a deadline if I was Lambert, if they don't meet it I'd walk.

They're complete idiots. I'm barely even angry anymore, just disillusioned and dismayed.

This will be a poor five wins from the past 22 games if they lose today.

The Celtic diehards around these parts who have one eye on Rovers have classed Lambert as a 'soup taker'which I'm led to believe isn't very endearing.

Hope the sunshine holds - on the mainland myself next week. Hoping to take in one of Wednesday's games - a bit of quality would be nice for a change.

We are going to 'do a Bolton' next season if this awful squad is not improved upon and some!

Shocking stuff.

Doing a Bolton would be a bonus, more likely to be doing a Blackpool with barely any players left.

I know you'll tell me you predicted this when Lambert was appointed and we MUST go through this for Lambert to assess who goes and who stays, but we are officially worse than under GB.

I actually enjoyed many performances in the early months of the season and didn't dread home games. There was hope that we might play well and might win.

Regardless of any other factor, these players were able to produce a number of decent performances in February so why isn't our esteemed manager even able to motivate them mentally or tactically to match or come near to those performances from March to May, at least every other game or so.

When the team is playing well, it is down to the manager but it appears that when we play abjectly it is down to the players.

The manager motivates his team to play well or otherwise. To argue that his hands are tied doesnt explain our nose-dive in form since his 5 decent performances.

As I'll repeat until January, I am not calling for a change, but what Lambert is giving us is worse than Bowyer or Kean.

Did we ever lose three home games on the spin under GB? Truly abysmal stuff over the past few weeks. Poor team, yes, but it shouldn't be this bad. Perhaps they know Lambert is off and just don't care any more.
