I'm sure there aren't pro-Venky supporters out there, however I'm sure there are supporters who would say that without Venkys the club would fold and therefore the club need them (yes, yes I know...) so in the world of Abbey, does that make them pro-Venky? :brfc:

JESUS CHRIST ...LAST WEEK I GOT TOLD ITS NOT VENKYS FAULT AND THEY ARE DOING A JOB....HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THIS !!!

In the world of abbey anyone who goes and watches another team to glory hunt when rovers are at home is an actual disgrace to Blackburn Rovers .

I ended up going to Ewood in the end although I think we can agree I wish I hadn't bothered. Just to prove I went, you looked very fetching in your black jacket and sun glasses :rover:

Believe it or not, I am actually on your side here and heard the two lads next to you chant Venkys Out a few times with seemingly no adverse reaction :brfc:

EDIT: at least PB understood the point I was trying to make...

We need them gone as we're only going deeper in the mire

As for PL and budget there is no budget even if there was there's no directors left to do anything

I don't know the answer but somehow they have to be got rid of so we can somehow come back from the abyss like Portsmouth

It's going to be a very strange end to the season.

Not a good season, not a (quite) disastrous season. Not a transition season - as far as we can tell. Not a rebuilding season. No direction, no statements of intent, no signs of something to build on. Lenihan breaking into the first team and Mahoney's debut probably the only sources of hope.

Nothing to cheer about, nothing to cry about, nothing (yet) to get angry about. A nil-nil would be a fitting result for the final game of this season. I wonder how many fans will stay behind. There will always be kids lining the sides of the pitch but the stands will almost certainly be deserted.

Win, lose, or draw, football really shouldn't feel this way.

We could do with Lambert saying that he will definitely be here next season because he has a job to do; for Venkys to back him with his transfer targets; for a new CEO to be introduced to the crowd, microphone in hand, promising a better relationship with the fans from here on in, and an assurance that we are all in this together.

The last thing we need as this season draws to a close is shrugs from the manager, shrugs from the players, and shrugs from the departing fans. It'll hardly have people looking forward to next season.

Errrrr?...this all happened to our club some 4/5 years ago.

Our fans protested but were lambasted and ridiculed all the way from the Red tops to the jibbering utter clowns on 'Gillette Soccer Saturday'.

And sadly by many fellow supporters

In the eyes of the world at that time we won the Prem 15 years ago, we outstayed our welcome for years in that div so we've had our time, should be grateful and take our medicine quietly.

Somehow that'll always be the case with us amongst a lot of people. Oldham had their time, disappeared and no one gave a toss, Wimbledon too. Older heads view us like that, younger rival fans tend to still think of us as a Prem club though I think but to the media we ain't newsworthy unless they can put an angle on it like the Kean fiasco.

Well, I think the time has come for something to be done to ruffle a few Indian feathers.

Surely after 5-6 years people cannot be clinging onto the hope that they will turn it around? Ever since they took over we have been on a gradual decline and it shows no sign of stopping.

In the 18th minute of the game: either a plane buzzing the ground or a banner passed around all four sides of the ground emblazoned with "In Lambert We Trust: In Venkys We Don't"

In the 75th minute of the game: a centre-circle sit-in by the fans to get the game abandoned.
