sadly another taken by cancer before her time at the relatively young age of only 62, i remember seeing her on tv a lot growing up in the 80s her stand up comedy was a bit too gentle for my tastes but it was still clear she was a brilliant and witty comedy writer, musician & performer she was still always watchable because of her lovely warm personality and very easy to relate to because of her lancashire accent and dialect(which was pretty rare to see any where else other than maybe corry back then)

Many thanks to Victoria Wood for her wonderful creation of the Biopic about Eric&Ernie. One of my favourite bits of TV.

Is there any better compliment I can give to Victoria than "She made us all laugh". She cheered me up many times when I was feeling down. RIP Victoria. I for one shall miss you.
