tomphil Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 It's because the embargo prevented the usual turnaround otherwise we'd be near the top of that as we have been ever since this lot pitched up. No wonder they were desperate to get out of the embargo as our agents were having to cancel their new company cars ! I wonder how many transactions that money covers ? Not many I'd wager.
JAL Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Rovers only paid 165k in agents fees. 8th lowest in the Championship http://m.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/14447050.Blackburn_Rovers_pay___165_537_to_agents_over_four_month_period___the_eighth_lowest_amount_in_the_Championship/ Why doesn't Wheelock name the agent or agents ?
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 22, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted April 22, 2016 Why doesn't Wheelock name the agent or agents ?You'd have to ask him.... (Though on all the articles I've seen on this subject, the agents aren't mentioned). You could always work out what transfers took place in that time period and Google their agents?
had.e.nuff Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 How did Forest pay nearly 1/2 million when they are under an embargo?
tomphil Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Why doesn't Wheelock name the agent or agents ? Er.... maybe he'd then have to find a new one ?
Leonard Venkhater Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Is that because, on the whole, we've signed sh!te? I remember when we had one of the highest agent spends in the Prem...We signed sh1te then too...,
patrickvalery Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Why doesn't Wheelock name the agent or agents ? Why don't you JAL? At least Wheelock has a job to protect. I can't understand why you feel the need to go all "riddle me this". Just spill the beans man! What's the worst that could happen?
McClarky Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 It's not always a bad thing to pay agents fees. Some agents are professional people who facilitate transfers of players who couldn't get themselves the deal they deserve without someone to represent them. We have signed many players over the years with the help iof agents. Unfortunately there is so much easy money in football that it attracts criminals, money launderers and generals sheisters and that's what the game needs to sort out, not agents who do a good job.
