Ben-2000 Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I have to say I would be amazed if we surpassed last season's total of 10,059. I would imagine they meant sales were up compared to the same time last year, however I can't see that being maintained.

mustard Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Forget everything else. Q. Is Blackburn Rovers your club? Yes, it is (edit). Doesn't mean I'm getting an ST. Seldom enjoyed going to Ewood the last six years... Has anyone? I end up feeling miserable all weekend, angered and frustrated I can't change things. Some might be able to justify it but for me it's a waste of my time, money and energy on something I don't actually enjoy. People might say "don't let Venky's take it away from you". Well, they already have. The majority of our fans are too gutless to even speak out against the V's, never mind do anything else and I can see more apathy and perhaps even in-fighting this season, particularly if anyone dare say anything anti-Venky's/Coyle. At least during the protests, we fans had some fire and passion back then. Felt we were fighting for the cause. Not anymore though. Oh well, playing football at a decent level this season. Will attend away games where I can but I can't see my love and passion for attending returning until Venky's are gone.

Will attend away games where I can but I can't see my love and passion for attending returning until Venky's are gone. Pretty much how I feel. Plus I always miss the first 3 or 4 home games of the season for one reason or another. At some point before the end of the season my daughter will return to work from maternity leave and may need babysitter on Saturdays, I want to spend weekends in Nov and December enjoying my home in the lakes, I want to be free to choose if I watch football. I don't want to go to Ewood under venkys and Coyle anyway, but if I were to relent it would be an odd game not week in week out.
Hasta Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Forget everything else. Q. Is Blackburn Rovers your club? Have you enjoyed going to Ewood and the match day experience every game for the last 3 years? That's the question for me and the answer is no. Not through results or performances but through the shear frustration of watching the club from above tear itself apart leading to disillusion in the stands and @#/? on the pitch. Then a constant refusal to make the obvious changes from above to help improve the situation. Even now, a manager walks because of broken promises and we employ a new manager who is a proven duck and didn't fit the criteria the club were so triumphantly spouting. Again, probable failure on the pitch due to the people above not acting in clubs best interest. And they expect people to pay money and enjoy the frustration their naivety causes because it's a nice Saturday away from the missus. Of course I love the club and want them to do well. But maybe I will go to a few away games and a few home games when it suits. I may not rearrange my life for every game anymore. I've other things going on than to be frustrated by some dodgy Indian owners and their puppets at Ewood.
BlueMonday Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Forget everything else. Q. Is Blackburn Rovers your club? No it's the Rao families, and they run it for their own satisfaction.
Mike Graham Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Forget everything else. Q. Is Blackburn Rovers your club? Yes, I have loved following Rovers for 50 years. But shooting a few clays will be far more fun than going down to Deadwood.
ABBEY Posted July 9, 2016 Author Posted July 9, 2016 Forget everything else. Q. Is Blackburn Rovers your club? And the dumb ass and most patronising question in brfcs history goes to
J*B Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Forget everything else. Q. Is Blackburn Rovers your club? Forget this question. Q. Do you currently identify with the owners, management or players in Blue and White?
pk1875 Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Decided to renew today, after a long time genuinely pondering whether to or not, shop seemed quite busy whilst I was in.
A cup of beans Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Season ticket sales hit the 5000 mark on earlier this week, thats direct from the ticket office. Season starts 4 weeks today. Doubt we'll hit 8000
donnermeat Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Gave in on Friday and renewed. I don't even know if I can give a clear reason why I did.
ABBEY Posted July 10, 2016 Author Posted July 10, 2016 More I see renewers more I feel vindicated .. What will it take for fans to say enough is enough
Gav Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Gave in on Friday and renewed. I don't even know if I can give a clear reason why I did. It's in the blood donner, you can't help it, nowt wrong with that.
rigger Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I've never had a season ticket in nearly 50 years of supporting the Rovers, and I am not getting one next season. Which camp am I in?
donnermeat Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 It's in the blood donner, you can't help it, nowt wrong with that. You're right Gav, truth is I was completely undecided until the day. I was actually trying to avoid thinking about it for weeks and in the end, the pull was too strong. I live literally 2 minutes walk from the ground, it would be ludicrous for me not to go.
Gav Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I've never had a season ticket in nearly 50 years of supporting the Rovers, and I am not getting one next season. Which camp am I in? The filthy rich camp?
rigger Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 The filthy rich camp? Oh how I wish! I think that I have managed the filthy, but have missed out on the rich.
chor808 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 We are not renewing. We might go to a few games but we will go elsewhere (chorley) until the they have gone in the main. Horrible scumbags have killed it for me. I'm sick of listening to how we are needed and real fans get behind the team, we are not stupid they have ripped the soul out of the club and the fans and simply they can @#/? off. Only so much you can take. Sadly not going won't a jot of difference to them.
tomphil Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 True they won't give a toss as long as long as there are players to sell to pay for their messing about. Another reason they don't care if the crowds dip again.
rigger Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I still think the best idea is to go to away games only. Youngsters will get more of a liking for the team in a buoyant away atmosphere, than in a doom laden Ewood (sad but true).
Baz Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 ST deadline day today, does that mean the ticket website will reveal the gaps tomorrow?
MarkBRFC Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Don't they usually have 2 weeks now where season tickets go off sale whilst they process any seat transfers etc? So I imagine the ticket website will stay the same until then.
