I don't see it as quitting Stuart, I haven't got a ST yet, but let's be honest what's going to change for me (or the 3999 other non renewers) to suddenly whet the appetite? Mega rich owners who give all the signals of just giving up completely isn't going to help much is it.

I'm disappointed. When long term supporters like you and Gav give up on Rovers it's a poor state of affairs. I don't blame either of you but for myself, no matter how I try to convince myself, I can't bring myself to stop going. I know how badly I missed it last season when I was too ill to go. Maybe the two of you will have the same withdrawal symptoms that I had. If you do please don't let pride stop you. Get back down to Ewood. If you are anything like me you will want to.

Bring Abbey with you too. He's bound to miss it, Gumboots too, she is one of the most sensible posters on here and we need people like her at matches.

My dad's been going since the mid 50's. My mum since the late 80's (regularly). In their words they won't let the venky's ruin 'somewhere they love going' while they are still mobile enough to get to the ground. Each to their own.

Makes me proud.

Don't give up what you love because of ignorant owners.

Love Rovers, Feck The Rest.

It's a poor state of affairs when we are losing fans like you and the rest in gumboot's list. Awful stuff.

The club have completely misread things in sticking the knife in, bringing in Coyle along with freebies and loans and selling our best players for big money. It's like they think that Danny Graham alone is a big enough draw for us to forgive all sins.

Every club is bigger than any one player and the club seem to have lost sight of the important stuff.

If it wasn't for my lads I would not have renewed. I can't bring myself to buy new home shirts for us (not least because we can wear the one from three seasons ago and it looks the same), will take a look at the away shirt but, on the one hand, I'm expecting another poor generic effort and on the other I don't want to fund Venkys project any more than I have to. And on a third had, it's so easy to lose interest.

A bad start to the season and we're toast. 6,000 fans in the Championship is just a complete decimation of the club we were just a few short years ago. Every decision our club makes is one that any Bumley fan around would have been having wet dreams about. Giving them David Jones in favour of Jason Lowe; letting Michael Keane go off to them and potentially be or a £20m player  ; let them walk over us, home and away; bringing in Coyle (FFS); etc, etc. And that ignores the Kean era completely. It's like they are doing it to hurt us. Well the fans are voting with their feet.

Of course, much like players and managers who won't put up with them, the super fans will turn on them as not really committed but we are talking about long standing fans here, not plastic PL hangers on.

Then there's the likes of Bill Taylor asking us to trust them. Trust them. Trust THEM! TRUST them??!! @#/? hell man, wake up!! Our town club is dying under Venkys and he wants us to trust them.

It breaks your heart. :(

I wish I still loved going to Ewood.

Same mate, I can't not go though that's the annoying thing. If I didn't get a season ticket I'd be wishing I was at ewood every Saturday we were at home, even if we were bottom of the league! Mental, fair play to those who have renewed and those who haven't. There's no difference in any of the two, those who haven't renewed have just finally had enough, and those who have just can't let go just yet. 😩

That's the whole point, people DON'T love watching Rovers anymore. That's no hope, no optimism, no redemption, no pride, nothing. It's all been drained out of the club.

Currently running an online poll on what would tempt fans to return, There is only 4 options as that's all twitter allows, we know there are many more reasons for those who wish to vote be interesting if BRFCC also ran similar poll.

It's a tough tough thing, harder than I expected seeing as it hasn't even started yet and I'm sick to the back teeth of the charade and the thought of those twohats and others sat there not giving a toss.

Was in the area the other day and had a walk around the ground mainly to peer in and see if that fabled riverside tv gantry was making an appearance. Basically I just wished it was matchday and I was going in .......

I flerking love that place but man do I hate Venkys and their associates !

There is nothing those at Ewood could do to tempt me into renewing my season ticket, even if Mrs Desai got down on bended knee, kissed my feet and begged me. I've been bored, ignored, disrespected and marginalised long enough. Those speaking for the club at the moment are powerless and those with the power couldn't care less.

All that cheston non attending fans damaging this, that and the other. Bullshit. Just more meaningless jibber jabber from the propaganda machine at Ewood.

Through their actions the venkys have made abundantly clear that we are not fans we are merely customers. And now they reap what they sow as fans you go regardless through thick and thin but as a customer you can have a more discerning palate and say no to the dross served up.

They will not get my money and most importantly they will not get my support at home because from the players to the owners, almost to a man they do not deserve it.

This bit made me laugh:

Rovers are in the process of calculating the exact total of season tickets sold after the deadline for fans to claim their seats passed this week.

I know the poor fella is having to multitask but surely the total of tickets sold is available on the press of a button? And as an accountant it makes him not a very good one I'm afraid.

Sorry Mike, but we all recognise bullsh1t when we smell it.

Cheston's line about the club communicating with fans should have been left at just that, to say they are actually only having these bi-annual meetings with fans is because it is actually Football League rules. To me it comes across as being done to abide by the rules rather than actually seeking to communicate. In the customer charter it is also stated the meeting with fans is to comply with EFL rules, at least pretend you are doing by your own choice!!

Do I feel like I am damaging the club by not renewing? Absolutely not so Cheston trying to make non renewers feel guilty actually strengthens my resolve. The ONLY people responsible for damaging this club (maybe beyond repair) are his bosses. It seems every time Cheston speaks he antagonises the fans even more.

The way I read that is absolute desperate last ditch to get some sales. As oldjamfan says 'in the process of calculating the exact total of season tickets sold' LIE again. They know exactly how many have sold do they think we are total idiots!! Stop bloody lying.

The other comment about damaging the club should really be a rallying cry to those who are on the fence NOT TO RENEW.

Anyway he wants to know why we are not renewing, I'll email them later and tell him.

Really really sick of this now.

Cheston should easily get a job as part of Donald Trump's campaign and communications team.

Reinventing history and painting a rosy picture as society (or in our case Rovers) crumbles around you.

There again he cannot tell it as it is.......he would lose his job and then the only person to run Rovers would be Grooby.

Grooby for CEO.

Comical Ali springs to mind!

I also think Abbey might explode when he reads Chestons message to the non renewers!

What a shame. Cheston has just gone on the 'list'.

We are asked to trust the club but they continue to show contempt to us.

4000 people, four thousand, more than a third of the longest suffering fans, have not renewed their ticket from last year. That is nothing to be pleased about and to suggest otherwise is just marketing spin. Such propaganda happens everywhere of course (sales tactic) but don't expect 'trust' in response.

Imagine if we hadn't signed the great white hope that is Danny Graham! It could have been worse - he even gets name checked in the article, such is the importance that 'he came back' all must be well.

Thing is, the hardcore will be in their element. They wouldn't care if they were sat in the BBE with their small group of mates and nobody else: there'd be fewer dissenting voices, things would be much calmer, and they'd be able to sit back and take in the football as purists. As long as Coyley plays football in the 'right way' (which in most places means winning, except to the purist).

The thing is, a Championship club on those kinds of gates, with no real investment from the owners, and selling your best players, is just not sustainable. I'm not just talking another relegation - that's a further badge of honour for the hardcore - I'm talking about having a club at all. "I was there last time and I'll do it again. It'll do the snotty-nosed kids good to go through it like I did. If you don't persevere through the bad times, you're not entitled to enjoy the good times". NEWSFLASH - this isn't like last time. Venkys weren't here then, employing 'yes men' and continuing to back them AGAINST the fans regardless of the consequences on the field.

We won't start to heal until the wound is exposed and cleaned up.

Venkys Out.

Shows what a joke the letters we received thanking us for our concerns were. He asks why we're not renewing. I sent a 4 sides of A4 hand written letter to tell him just some of the reasons why we're not renewing. Perhaps I'd better reply again and tell him more clearly why I'm not renewing. In a week when the club has virtually admitted they won't spend any more money at all this window despite the fact that money will come in from sales we all know will happen and from Rochinas transfer it's a bit rich to have a go at fans so openly in the local press. They really just don't get it or if they do, don't care.
