I'm not renewing full stop, but for those who HAVE renewed, if Duffy and Marshall were sold and inadequately replaced, would any of you be sending it back? I know for many, it goes well beyond the XI on the field (even now), but I'd be interested to see if further sales and cuts would spark a backlash.

Mine arrived this morning.

In answer to your question;

No, I wouldn't.

They can sod the £10 at Peter Jacksons, anyone on here want it?

My mum sent a ring there a few years ago to be resized. While in the shop, she was advised to have it re-valued at some point. After wearing it over the weekend, she decided to have it valued and the diamond had become glass somewhere along the line! Thankfully (through Farleys) he agreed to replace the diamond, but his firm unfortunately lost our trust through that incident.

Must admit I re-evaluated for all of 5 seconds based on that.

All credit to the ones that have renewed, I just hope the season isn't as dire as its looking currently and you see a decent side on the pitch.

If we had fit and proper owners in charge selling assets like Hanley, Duffy and Marshall, yes I'd be disappointed but I'd know it was in the best interests of the club, season tickets would have been bought and we're all pulling in the same direction, but these ****s.....

Surely you buy your season ticket because you support the team and club?

But what if theres no recognisable team left to support? I already find i dont know who half the players on the pitch are despite having been there last season. Another 2 first teamers gone and it would be even harder. I know you feel people shouldnt care if coyle put 11 headless chickens on the pitch in Rovers shirts but everyone has their own breaking point and selling duffy and marshall might just be the tipping point for some, especially if they are not replaced with anyone or with academy kids

Football support for me is not about playing staff. It's about choosing a team and sticking by it. After 24 years or whatever, I'm not prepared to change.

I've respect for people who've decided they don't want to go, could you please show more respect for those who still want to support their club.

I support the team and the club but I am not renewing. Do I need to state my reasons again?

It was a question, chaddy, to see if others might be pushed to change their minds if the situation worsens at BRFC. If you don't want to answer it, then leave it for others to do so please.

All I have to do is eat 300 cheese and onion pies from the clogg and the season ticket is effectively free

Now, if Abbey had responded to you like you've just responded there chaddy there'd have been the usual suspects pulling him up for it.

I think you need to refer back to cup of beans post on your 'passive aggressive' posting style. You're not adding to the debate you're shutting it down. Again.

Where is the lack of respect here? I couldn't care less if you or anyone else chooses to renew. I'm not preaching boycott. It's entirely your choice. I merely said that everyone has their tipping point and for some it will be the sale of more players this year.

Headless chickens? Making your decision after others leave?

It's another suggestion that those who go are "duped". Maybe it wasn't the intention but that's how it comes across.

I didn't say they were headless chickens, merely that by Chaddy logic he'd still be buying a season ticket if they were. Where is your tipping point? Do you have one? What would make you say enough is enough? Because if you don't have one then I really do have to wonder at you. Sometimes it has to be walk away tough love. It's not painless. In fact it often seems more painful than carrying on just buying tickets and supporting regardless. I care. I care passionately. But that for me is why I just cannot carry on watching my club being sold down the river and just go on as though all is normal. It's not and until this lot leave it can't be. Sometimes I wish I could take the carry on option but for me it's not right.

Why? I'm a BRFC supporter!

I'm similar to you in view, I'm sick of being treat like an afterthought but there is a big difference. It's not ignorance or acceptance, it's just the fact I'm a rovers supporter and nothing will change that.

I feel ripped off like you, but I don't discount protesters as "non-fans" et al.

Don't know why you keep humouring him with replies, gb.

Everyone's allowed an opinion - you are just entitled as he is to support your club in the way you see fit.

The fact is that this is now only cosmetically our club. We have NEVER had owners as useless as this lot, who don't know or care what they do or how they do it. Rovers fans are in unprecedented territory.

No I dont.

On me not answer it? I believe I've answered this before. I outlined my reasons and have done many times.

Gumboots, do I have a tipping point? Probably not. But I guess it will depends on my future plans outside of work and whether I fall out of favour with football. If I stop enjoying the games and social side of attending games that would probably be my tipping point. I hope you respect my points/opinion.
