Thanks mate, message. To test the water, how many on here would be prepared to do this?

I would certainly, I wasn't planning on getting a season ticket but in this case it's undeniably a great idea and would generate lots of media interest. Would really show these clowns up, their business up, would bring power back to the fans to help us get what we want. On top of that it shows that we won't be ignored, that we are stronger together, we will force them to run the club properly even if they can't be bothered.

Could be a truly ground breaking idea.

Not me. That money is better off staying in my account.

Just don't buy a season ticket. Same panic in Poonville. They'd jump one way or the other.

Villa fans planning a 74th minute "mass release of energy" in the game against Newcastle.

An atomic bomb. Brilliant. Can we get one to Pune

Whilst I understand people not wanting to go (me included) I think this is probably the best idea any fan has come up with to date in way of protest and taking power back to the supporters. Before people decide on a whim it would be nice for people to give it serious thought. This would only make us (the fans) look good, responsible and passionate about our club and the owners look the total opposite. Think about that for a moment before making your decision.

I would think a pitch invasion would not be backed by the majority and the few who did invade would be harshly treated. The protest must be made in India. The venkys go to the ipl can planes be hired in India.

If you plan things correctly, and get enough interest from the fans, then you can get a pitch invasion going.

The planning however needs to be done very early on. The problem is more that people are loyal to Rovers, not Venkys, so that's understandable if they still want to attend.

I'm still holding out hope that Battersby and Currie, and the rest can come up with a masterful plan

Or you do a Blackpool. If someone was to slip into a fire alarm in the Blackburn End concourse during the first half, the stadium rules dictate all fans should assemble on the pitch until a fire safety expert has deemed the concourse as safe.

No laws broken, no fines.

And then nobody leave, and the fans say "well we dont feel safe yet, give us another hour and we will feel safe" :D

Feeling so dejected right now, desperately want the fans to do something drastic like drag the Desais into the middle of the pitch on Saturday and give them a good flogging, but realistically want some of the dozy twonks who still think venkys are great to stand up and make their feelings known, it wont happen we all know that. So we are royally screwed, I will NEVER accept venkys, they can take a tumble of a cliff and I will be the one standing over them going 'haha'. nothing will happen and it will be dejavu again next season, I really do give up with some of our 'fans'

I was going to go tomorrow if there was some sort of protest planned but i'm not bothering whilst our fans remain unwilling to fight.

Sadly the majority have given up and are protesting simply by not attending anymore.

Most of the people who still go are either ambivalent or super fans.

I'm not an expert on Health and Safety but I'd imagine it must be an offence to maliciously set off a false fire alarm.

Still think the best option is for everyone not to go in until about ten or fifteen minutes after kick off then let your feelings be known once in..
