Just set up an email thread with people who are willing to get involved.

Ask for folks to send their email addresses over to you via PM if they have a genuine interest in serious protests. I bet you get less than 10 from here. All talk.

Excuse my ignorance but what is an email thread?

Who owns the hill behind the Riverside? Is it legal to have a gathering and fireworks display on there? Maybe that's also a reason they're moving the cameras. The thought police at it again.

I think its just council owned land, I walk my dogs around there every day, theres new the remains of camp fires around their every other day(most from teens camping out, some from the junkies&alcys that doss their at night) So i doubt there'd be any issues with setting of a few fireworks(as long as its organised on the hush hush) Careful not to start any bush fires though(they do happen there every time theres dry weather)

p.s. i can see from my notifications that abby quoted me earlier but his post was deleted before I saw it, what a travesty how will i cope with out his words of wisdom. (its a good job chaddy was around for him to troll though)

The vast majority of the fanbase has walked away and more will continue to do so. That's the most effective form of protest IMO. The owners haven't got a clue, if we protest (which I would get involved with), there's nobody here, they're in India and they don't care. This situation is fairly unprecedented I'd say. All other owners of clubs are at least present at games or have some sort of involvement, but this lot are miles away and don't care/won't listen and think they know best, even though they've proven time after time they really don't. Just hoping they get sick of it and clear off tbh.

Unfortunately your right there's no one left to take out our anger on we had Kean.. Then Shaw whom I was constantly giving grief in a certain part of the ground

But now nothing as There thousands of miles away

Would it be feasible to hire billboard space in Pune and advertising space in the Pune Mirror? Given that they are are supposed to be a bit precious about their reputation and standing billboards and full page ads calling them out as an embarrassment to Pune and India generally might at least sting them into some kind of reaction?

I realise that this might be a prohibitively costly exercise but if something like that could be crowd sourced I would dig deep and give as much as I could afford. Maybe others would too?

( I keep having to correct auto correct which wants to write 'pube' instead of 'Pune'. Freudian?)

if the dingle venkyscum appoint the Burnley big eared chimpoid will it make the Rovers Fans boycott or will you all just happily take a Venky Roger and renew singing the Kean supporting Anderson puppet name . ?

Play fair Abbey you've literally only just started your own boycott after Lambert left, some people did years ago whilst others won't ever boycott no matter what as they don't see the point.

A boycott isn't the only way but I would be buggered if I knew what was!

How about going to the Chorley ground instead, taking a couple thousand from Ewood there would really boost a club of that size, plus it would be nice to get behind Jansen.

That kind of thing has been done and it doesn't sit well with me at all. Going to support another team isn't going to help drive these @#/?s out it just makes us look foolish in the eyes of other fans. I'm sure a few have defected but you don't see Bolton fans doing that at Chorley and they are the near neighbours.
