Thanks for that pk1875, i appreciate the reply.

BRAG has a standing in the local community and in the press both locally and nationally, I feel that BRAG is very well placed to lead a campaign against the continued destruction of our football club, but if the membership doesn't feel its warranted, then BRAG can't act and this isn't an attack on BRAG, its more like a plea for help.

I wouldn't say the membership doesn't feel it's warranted, it is finding something that will get backing in sufficient numbers to make a real impact. That said I do suspect that as the summer unfolds eyes will be opened to the reality of the situation. I don't know if the apparent apathy that appears prevalent amongst the masses of Rovers supporters is comparable to the rest of football supporters, after 5 or 6 years of constant humiliation many seem to have accepted it or simply don't have the stomach to fight back. Many appear content to quietly walk away.

Nothing would please me more than to see thousands of fans say @#/? this I've had enough and I'm prepared to make a stand against this.

I also feel that a national campaign including other clubs supporters need to make a stand against the supposed football authorities who seem happy to watch so called fit and proper owners destroy long standing football clubs through sheer incompetence at best and deliberate self gaining criminal activity at worse.

We along with other clubs need help, someone to step in and scrutinise what the hell is going on in football, sadly those people are happy to do sweet FA

I've a good mate who's very active in Spirit of Shankly, that group was born out of American owners and fans opposition to those owners, they're now fighting for many things for the membership and I know BRAG have had contact, but the group needs to be more active in my opinion.

We're a small town club with small town views and small town mentality, the appointment of Owen Coyle by Mike Cheston and "The Board" is just another slap in the face of every Blackburn Rovers supporter, we need a group to take up the mantle and try to bring about change.

Individual protest is useless.

Thanks for the reply pk, I'm not having a go at BRAG, I'm just hoping for a group to take up the mantle because the clubs dyeing on our watch.

But with the traffic on this thread, its seems nobody gives a flying uck really and thats criminal

Speaking of protests, I believe a joint effort is being planned by some Rovers and Blackpool supporters for the upcoming friendly game. Will be interesting to see what comes of that.

Whatever it is it won't involve Pool fans entering Bloomfield. NAPM is in full effect at Blackpool. They don't even call the club BFC anymore, it's OFC. Anyone that buys tickets or club merchandise is called a scab,

Yeah, they block the road outside that you can drive past the ground on.....I happened to be there when they played Wigan a few weeks ago and it was mayhem out there.....good on em.

Needs to be fronted by a supporters group not an individual, until that happens we're stuck in this downward spiral.

Rubbish. They are long standing fans with the club's best interests at heart. A couple of them I know personally have been watching Rovers for over 35 years. A pity Jack didn't choose 'em as trustees!

Regulars on here will know them as Blackburn Ender and Ozz.

If half the things coming out about Barry White bling Venky are true then we are going to be stuck with these corrupt cretins for a very long time. Then people wonder why some of us actually wouldn't mind admin, I genuinely think it's the only way we'll EVER get rid of them.

Can the FF people, the trust guys and BRAG, issue a statement demanding Venkys hand over control of the football club to the two Ian's by the start of August or date of choice ?

so it looks like a signing and the ones saying they were doing this and doing that have now swallowed the brainwashing pill and are not now going to anything and everything is hunky dory again in the v land. Why did everyone take there foot off the venkyscums throat.?
