so it looks like a signing and the ones saying they were doing this and doing that have now swallowed the brainwashing pill and are not now going to anything and everything is hunky dory again in the v land. Why did everyone take there foot off the venkyscums throat.?

Didn't you say quite recently that you couldn't be bothered protesting or kicking up a fuss? Because of how dejected Venkys made you feel?

I wouldn't blame you, but hard to expect others to act in that case.

I admit to feeling a sense of hopelessness and lack of energy. I think this is to be expected after 5 years, but I am still very angry too.

I guess we need a meeting of a group of like minded people to come up with objectives and a plan which will gain publicity without disengaging other supporters. Maybe it will have to start small. For all I know, this is going on already e.g. the Blackpool game.

.

I hold my hand up and admit to being frustrated by people who have a different analysis than my own-like at my wife's birthday party the other night!. I just have to find a constructive way of managing it

In this "struggle" it is important that people with different views don't fall out, despite their passion for the club,

Like you I am frustrated at the whole situation but turning the people who want to go into protesters is nigh on impossible. I remember the first protest march before the Arsenal game when I turned up at the Havelock expecting lots of people, expecting to see Rovers fans of long standing all being like minded and protesting. There were several hundred of us. And ultimately the people who protested were correct given the year on year decimation of Rovers. Walking round Ewood that day I thought I had grown another head such were the looks of incredulity from lots of fans. I firmly believe it would take fat pony tail Venky to drop his pants and @#/? on Jacks statue before some of the shoulder strugglers would take offence.

I along with other members of my family and close friends will not be going in the foreseeable future as our protest against the wanton destruction of something that has been a lifelong passion. I would join anything that would make a difference but such is the indifference I can't see it happening.

I understand.Back then, I think there were lots of people , who genuinely didn't know the enormity of what was going on.I learned loads, merely by discovering this message board and that was after the Wigan game.

Like you say, the hard evidence is there after nearly six years, but I am not even sure we would get agreement on an aim of getting Venky's out.

Maybe, we should be more strategic, swallow the bile and campaign for" proper care and management of the club"? Something about getting the most in terms of hearts and minds.....

That was one of the lowest points in my time watching Rovers.

Pretty sure it was the first day of the fanzone and the beer-garden-brigade lapped it up and sneered and jeered at the few hundred who were trying to save the club that most of them later abandoned (because we were no longer PL).

Missing that day was a recognisable figurehead like Garner to take on the owners and their advisors by standing against Kean.

It's getting to the stage when you protest or shout abuse about the Rao's you look like a lone nutter.

Just can't think of what to do as a protest without ending up fighting with fellow Rovers fans. The scum from Pune really have ruined a family club.

Anyone left in the Jack Walker please give Burnley Bob what he deserves. The quisling 2hat.

That's me alright. You should see my family make a sharp exit, if anyone happens to ask me about Rovers!

There is talk of a joint protest with Blackpool fans before the game against our respective owners. Not sure what progress has been made, but I'm sure we'll hear about it soon.

If it does get confirmed, I would urge as many to attend as possible. It's one thing talking about idea's on here and another actually getting involved! Judging by the number of people fed up of the owner's both on here and social media I would still hope for a reasonable turn out bearing in mind it will be away from home.

The only thing you can do is just simply not go, then you remove yourself from the frustrations, but thats easier said than done I know.

The majority of the fan base are happy to carry on supporting the club regardless of the dumbing down and mismanagement year on year, all credit to them, proper fans, thick and thin, they deserve credit :tu:

I want to control the situation in the best way I can and if that means a complete boycott I can live with that, if it means a partial boycott I can live with that also, but the point here is that I don't have to rely on anyone else to make a stand, or to make a point, I can do that alone and thats talking back control in my book.

Has there been a leaflet campaign before a game highlighting all the things Glen Mullan and co have on the owners and the scum, as I'm pretty sure a lot of fans still don't know the full story of what's gone on and if it's done in a chronological order it may change heart and minds. It was only last week I found out about the FA having a injunction on one of the action groups (unbelievable)! May have been done already but I'm not aware of it.

Glen Mullan mentioned it a few weeks ago either on here or on his Twitter account.I'll try and find it today but workng. Maybe Glen can elaborate.

I'm 90% sure it's in the Baliji Rao thread

Haven't found it yet but as I'm sure you and others have seen it. I will keep looking and hopefully Glen will confirm it and comments on the leaflet I mentioned, cause I'm sure it will help fans see things clearer

I have after a lot of thought decided to boycott everything to do with Rovers, that includes going to matches, buying merchandise etc.

I had been wavering about renewing my season ticket but had decided that I couldn't stop going to Rovers, however the signing of Stokes was the tipping point for me. I have a massive moral objection to our club being represented by someone who has supported and seems still does support the IRA/Real IRA.

After 30 years of having a season ticket it is going to be hard not going but and also not talking about Rovers as I am one who tends only to comment on games that I have actually seen as radio commentary is no substitute. I have decided that I am not going to stop watching football altogether, I will be rotating between Stanley, Morecombe and Chorley.

It is a sad day for me walking away from the club that I love but the culmination of the absolute mismanagement from Venky's, to the joke of an executive structure to finally signing players that in my view make the club morally bankrupt.

Like Gav I have respect for those that still continue to go.

Good to see some people are still making a stand, Kamy.

Unfortunately, now that the new manager's got his feet under the table and there's some transfer activity, a lot of fans have reverted to type.

That was a new on on me too. Can anyone enlighten me about this injunction?
