It's heartbreaking kamy and you know what no one from the idiots in the Luny Bin to anyone at ewood has the balls or common decency to address any of this . It's pathetic and so disrespectful that you know they will still spin it that everything is rosy and no fan is unhappy .

From greasy to Coar they should look in the mirror and be ashamed at the wanton destruction of our club .

I have after a lot of thought decided to boycott everything to do with Rovers, that includes going to matches, buying merchandise etc.

I had been wavering about renewing my season ticket but had decided that I couldn't stop going to Rovers, however the signing of Stokes was the tipping point for me. I have a massive moral objection to our club being represented by someone who has supported and seems still does support the IRA/Real IRA.

After 30 years of having a season ticket it is going to be hard not going but and also not talking about Rovers as I am one who tends only to comment on games that I have actually seen as radio commentary is no substitute. I have decided that I am not going to stop watching football altogether, I will be rotating between Stanley, Morecombe and Chorley.

It is a sad day for me walking away from the club that I love but the culmination of the absolute mismanagement from Venky's, to the joke of an executive structure to finally signing players that in my view make the club morally bankrupt.

Like Gav I have respect for those that still continue to go.

Sorry to her that Kammy, but I boycott 3 seasons ago after following Rover's everywhere since a young lad in the 70's trouble is you'll find it almost impossible to go back under this lot as I have found out, so give it a bit more thought before you do!

Do you know about the FA injunction Glen mentioned?

Well done Kamy. I read your post with sadness and a certain happiness. Sad for obvious reason but glad you have the courage of your convictions. Not going is a really tough decision for us all but if that lot do go you can hold your head high.

no offence, but to all those that are 'boycotting' you do know it will make zero difference to how the clubs run or by whom. if people arent happy and just don't feel like going then that i can understand, but labeling it a form of protest seems a bit thin to me.

It doesn't matter if it makes no difference to the owners or people running the club. This is very much a individual thing and it how I feel that matters not what difference it makes to the owners.

It is a form of protest in terms of people are stopping going for reasons that are entirely related to Venky's and the way the club is being run. A protest can take many different forms.

i dont find your issues with oakes are entirely related to venkys, i can imagine plenty more clubs would have been happy to have him if he didnt come here, mosetn footballers generally jus don't seem to be moral people if theyre not into the things that oakes is then they're just as likely to be into gang banging teenage girls(or any other aged women for that matter) theyre just brought up in a very strange insular environment and dont have same moral standards as the general public.

Kamy to be fair even I don't think TJ is that stupid that he doesn't know this .... It's TJ wanting to be at universal central again.

does the rule 'attack the post, not the poster' not include abby, maybe i should use one of his names that he calls chaddy and start calling him teflon! or reply to all his posts by saying "stop chatting @#/?" because that appears to be acceptable.

If you think I wear it as a badge of honour you couldn't be further from the truth. You don't follow Rover's for this long just to pack it in. The soul and the essence have gone for me and not enough people want to get to the bottom of it and instead bitch and have petty squabbles. So for me it is the only thing left to do, as the fans have been brow beaten into submission in my opinion. If it make you feel better not calling it a boycott then it's a moral decision

In the end you have to do what you can. there is apparently nothing we can do that will affect our owners, but we can be true to what we think and believe, which is what Kamy is doing. I'm not taking the moral high ground here. I know a lot of people are continuing to go because they feel that to give up would be to give in. I know others who will continue to go because it's what they do with their dad, their kids or their granny or whoever. There's no right and wrong, just different ways of handling the mess that Venkys or whoever have made.

What's left? Doesn't matter what label you put on it and this is exactly what I mean by petty. There are so many fish to fry and energy amongst fans has all but gone. Please stop picking the bones out of things😉

I too am trying to stick with my convictions, I will not renew. An empty Ewood will speak far more than words or actions.

I did likewise when it was Kean's last season, but then duly went to Ewood the day after he 'resigned' and got a season ticket for the remainder.

But with Bowyer and then Lambert, they (Venkys or whomever) sucked me in, but not again. Not until they are gone or have no overall control, gladly take Evostick in preference with the youth team.

Early 70s with my father and uncles, great Ewood memories standing on my stool against the the Riverside wall with 5,000 other souls and the last 20 years with both my lads, one of whom has more to say on here than most.

I am wrestling as to whether I can permit myself to attend away games, but with today's fixtures out, I look at Wigan, then Derby, B'ham, Villa, Newcastle and a Boxing Day trip to Barnsley and am thinking yes this should keep my Rovers fix afloat.

protest: a statement or action expressing disapproval of or objection to something.

Nope, it's a protest. Shut up.

fair play, I cant argue with that, but there was no need to add the insult, maybe have a little word with yourself next time before you venture into keyboard warrior territory.

I do think those that aren't renewing out of protest would be better following up the non renewal by turning up at home games and having an organised peaceful protest outside the stadium, even if it only started with the dozen or so from here that have stated that they aren't renewing out of protest im sure more would join each game as word spreads if you stuck to your guns

The depth of feeling against what Venkys have done to our club is clear and defining, long standing fans forced away from the club they love. Its a heartbreaker that fans now feel they have no other options left.

They have swung their Wrecking Ball through all levels of the club to such an extent I personally doubt we will ever recover to a level similar to pre 2010.

The Rao's are THE most careless and disinterested owners this club has ever had in our 141 mainly glorious history steeped years of existence.

I will curse you till the day I pop my clogs!
