Backroom DE. Posted April 28, 2016 Backroom Posted April 28, 2016 It just doesn't matter anymore. Nobody with a shred of credibility could work under these idiots. Until they cluck off we're goosed.
davulsukur Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Dunn, possibly with Irvine (or maybe Kean, IMAGINE THAT!). And League 1 football to follow. No point in saying who we want to come in.
gumboots Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Well if anyone was stupid enough to bring Kean back then surely even the most determined supporters wouldn't renew
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 28, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted April 28, 2016 Whoever we get, they'll be ill-equipped puppets. Funny someone mentioned Donald Duck above, the latter part of his name rhymes with what we are.....
Backroom DE. Posted April 28, 2016 Backroom Posted April 28, 2016 Well if anyone was stupid enough to bring Kean back then surely even the most determined supporters wouldn't renew Don't be so sure.
gumboots Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I'm not but I'd seriously have to question their sanity
VinjayV4 Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 They are in legal action with Kentaro and Kean sued himself after Singh got him out. Its just a stupid name from a betting site. Odds mean nothing already saying nobody will be longer than 1000/1 for Premier League title next season. Bookies do what they believe will make them a profit. People who don't know what's going on probably bet on people like O'Neill all the time whenever a job comes up. I assume so as can't see why he's on the list otherwise.
Salgado Is Still A Hero Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Pointless even discussing it. It will be Dunn, Billy McKinlay, Javier De Pedro or someone like that.
Parsonblue Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I suspect that it will be Irvine with Kelly as his assistant. Johnson and Dunny might step up to coaching roles with the first team, with Billy Barr moving up to the Under-21's and Mike Sheron moving up to the Under-18's. That way you are only looking to replace an Under-16 coach (Sheron). It's the option that costs the least.

If I went in and put 10 pounds on a certain person, you did the same and someone else did the same, that persons odds would drop dramatically

If I went in and put 10 pounds on a certain person, you did the same and someone else did the same, that persons odds would drop dramatically Yeah I placed a big bet (well not 3 figures but more than £10 and yes I did research) on a 50/1 shot few weeks ago and after that it dropped to 33/1.

It's the option that costs the least.in the short term, but what will that cost us in terms of relegation (almost a certainty) lack of revenue, lack of St renewals etc. The apparently cheap option is not necessarily the real cheap option

Never was the sharpest............ To be honest i just put Keans name in there as Dunny seemed quite pally with him.
roverandout Posted April 28, 2016 Author Posted April 28, 2016 Its not like venkys to appoint a number 2, that would be a real curveball for them , then again they are a number 2
rigger Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 my money is on mickey mouse with donald duck as his assistant Have we not already had them
oldjamfan1 Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 manager markets are also changed very quickly. If I went in and put 10 pounds on a certain person, you did the same and someone else did the same, that persons odds would drop dramatically Precisely. Exhibit A Paul Lambert, whose odds have gone from 25/1 to 8/11 to be Celtic's manager on the first day of next season, based on a lot of bets from Rovers fans (folk plastering their betting slips all over Facebook!) and his announcement today.
OJRovers Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I'd be happy with Tim Sherwood. Expecting an inexperienced coach rather than a manager...step forward Dunny.

The bottom line is that we are returning to the days of 5,000 or so gates and I doubt any managerial appointment is going to change that. It reminds me very much of the late 60s/early 70s and has the same feeling of inevitable decline about it.
bluefred Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I've a sneaky feeling it minght be someone like Holloway,,,
PeteJD13 Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 We will probably end up with David Hockaday, in reality I can't see past Dunn and Irvine cheap and all ready in place both would be grateful for the job
davulsukur Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I'd be happy with Tim Sherwood. Expecting an inexperienced coach rather than a manager...step forward Dunny. Forgot about Sherwood. Sherwood as gaffer with Dunny as his assistant? Still League 1 footy but i could see that happening.
Lancaster Rover Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 It will be David Dunn, I think we all know that deep down.
sambo Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 It's Dunn, Irvine or Johnson. Whatever happens, it's @#/?.
