I'm sure you're not talking about nobed but if you are that would be AMAZING. No, seriously, amazing. It would be the biggest FU in the history of footieball. I would actually applaud the V's for such an incredible move. I'd go the the games, well I wouldn't, I go to Ewood to see those who are paying money to go in and watch.

Not gonna lie, I kinda want this to happen.

Why's Paul Jewell so high on the list all of a sudden? :/

And as if you can get odds on King Kenny haha.

He's found out there's a lap dancing bar at Ewood!

From that list Grayson, Poyet, McCarthy, Clough, Warnock, O'Neill, Rodgers, Moyes, McClaren, Pearson, Dalglish would be equal or better standing than Lambert. The chances of any of them coming here are lower than me being the next manager. Those odds are bog standard long odds that get thrown around every time a Championship vacancy comes up. Anything greater than 10/1 and its unlikely and probably based on guesswork.

Christ knows what has happened today to see Jewell suddenly become favourite. Someone somewhere must have lumped a fair bit on him. Not for me. He's yesterday's man and has failed miserably in his last 2 jobs at Ipswich and Derby.

Irvine is at long odds at 12/1. I think its worth lumping £5-10 on that this weekend. He's already on the payroll and will be in pole position for the job and I can't see why he wouldnt want it if he got offered it.

Nixon just said he spoke to Jewell about this last night...said no.

Jewell would be a worse appointment than Dunn, but it shows where we're at when even clowns like him are ruling themselves out at the earliest opportunity.

Nixon wouldn't go into Jewell's reasons and didn't think he was being mislead.

About time we had a poll isn't it? Not just with who the mods want either but anyone mentioned prominently on this thread.

Apart from Jason Wilcox! :)

jees some really underwhelming choices on that list

At the risk of repeating myself who cares good manager, bad manager it's a level playing field without support from the top

. Seriously .. Out of that lot who would be mad or desperate enough to take the job that we would be happy with ???? I'm struggling

Forget happy. How many of those would be prepared to work on a shoe string?

Jewell (already - apparently - ruled out)

Dunn

McCarthy (but only if he was already out of work)

Clough (Burton probably had more money than us)

Chris Wilder (but he won't be interested at the moment)

Those who would work under Venkys?

Dunn

The problem is that whoever comes in will want to bring in their own players but there is no money. Except Dunn. All 'his' players are already here.

So it's Dunn's job to lose.

How long do I have to wait for Patrick bleeding Valery to be considered for the post? Granted he's possibly behind Vratislav Gresko and Sebastian Perez, but surely we can't keep ignoring the elephant in the room for much longer.

Can see the situation now. 6 different managers at the end of next season but this time it results in relegation. Terrible situation.

However on the bright side, if Venkeys are a successful company in India, it must be so easy to make money there, that anyone in this country looking for a business venture should look at India as it must be impossible to fail.

Wasting my time no doubt but can we have a serious poll for once?

Wait. That wasn't you who voted for Jason?
