Ask Mercer... It's what Iv heard so I'm guessing they're one in the same...

I thought Mercer was on about Freedman tbh

He was treated disgracefully compared to a prat like Dunn. He has told his players off before too.

Unbeaten for the last 15 games in his youth role by the way.

You keep pushing Wilcox.

But its a no from me due to I want a manager with experience

I wanted Sherwood before Lambert was appointed, now I just don't care.

You wanted Sherwood, you got Lambert and there's a good chance you'll get Sherbert.

Thanks to Venky's this is what I'm reduced to.

Youth coach, massive difference to managing a football club. Never mind a rudderless football club.

You really have it in for Dunny don't you, what did he do to you?

Its true I have another issue with him plus the belief he would be an awful manager. He's an exceptional case though even where the other issue is concerned so never advocated booing him.

What possible issue do you have with one of the club's best ever players?

You could coach 'City U18's and do OK.

Or Shergar.

Wow he won the Norwegian League. What a monumental achievement.

You're rubbishing Solskjaer as a previous suggestion, then promoting Wilcox with exactly the same credentials....

But he's managed a football club, he's been involved in the day to day running of it, he's hired and fired and all that comes with it.

Wilcox has coached some kids.

No I'm rubbishing the comparison in votes. Its pretty obvious Solskjaer just had the Molde job handed to him also. Unlike Wilcox who no doubt had to earn his position.

Nah, I'm with Vinjay on this one. Not only is Shearer a smug imbecile stealing a wage from our license fee but he committed GBH on Neil Lennon then blackmailed the FA to escape punishment. @#/?.

You asked.

And it's more than what Wilcox has achieved.

Yeah well what had Shearer achieved? Didn't stop people voting for him in 2008 when the club had a considerably better list of targets. Yeah I know he was a better player than Wilcox. Not like Wilcox is some nobody though.

Solskjaer has been a first team manager though. We need to stop being a place for coaches to learn their trade, it never works out for us!!

Oh yeah?

Jason Wilcox took over as u18 manager in July 2013, and led his squad to North Division title glory in his first season in charge.
The former England international has a wealth of coaching experience to draw on, and has previously played a key role in the City Academy set-up as coach of the impressive u13 side which swept all before them in the 2012/13 campaign.
After spending time in City’s youth system himself as a teenager, Jason made the switch to Blackburn where he featured in an FA Youth Cup final, before making over 300 appearances for the senior team and tasting title success in 1995.
Wilcox also turned out for Leeds, Leicester and Blackpool before retiring as a player in 2006.
Now embracing the coaching side of the game, Wilcox will be hoping to lead his young side to even further success in 2014/15.
Ole Gunnar who? :rover:

There is absolutely zero chance Ole or Jason Wilcox will be coming to Ewood. It's cloud cuckoo land. Our manager has decided to leave. The club has sunk further and further into the mire. Why would either of them even consider joining this mess?! We will get a donkey unless someone we love has a soft moment and wants to try and rescue us.

On Moyes I heard anecdotally from people who knew him that he considered he should be managing at top 6 Premiership type level after he was sacked by Man Ure.

So despite 2 consecutive sackings it would still be a big surprise if hed lowered his sights so dramatically as to consider the Rovers vacancy.

Almost!

Wilcox for Prime Minister?

President/Queen/Prime Minister/Rovers manager rolled into one I'd say.
