Reading (h) ..No, haven't been since the impostor took us down...

What you are doing instead...watching the match threads on here and the BBC web site

What will make you return (next season)...the chicken fiddlers pull the chain and flush themselves away

I've been going on Stanley when there's no Rovers games for years and got a few mates who go every home game. Went school nearby and had a soft spot for them when they were nowhere.

I'll still probably suffer Rovers but the enjoyment is waning.

Anyway I don't wanna upset Abbey too much and we should probably move the Stanley posts.

Why can't that be done in the Blackburn End though with thousands of at least modestly lively fans around to persuade to join in? As an ex-Darwen Ender I can attest to it being good fun and there being some truly brilliant and loud fans in there. But all you ever hear from other areas of the ground is we can't hear you, and they're right, you can't.

So if others stands can't hear the Darwen End and the players can't then it does little to change the overall experience that Ewood has a rubbish atmosphere, and that needs changing, its vital to the match day experience and therefore vital to future support. There's always a battle going on in the stands for general air of encouragement/criticism between the singers and the moaners and for a while now Ewood has been lost to the moaners.

Merge the Darwen End fanaticism and atmosphere leadership with the Blackburn End strength in numbers and we might get something resembling an atmosphere back. At the moment the Darwen End is just a vanity project of a few tens of diehards singing to away fans and empty seats. And the Blackburn End is a tragic ghost of its former self.

Lambert hears us clearly enough...

So for the last time tomorrow "Lambert Lambert give us a wave!"

As for the BBE - surely with the numbers there are more than enough to make some noise without uprooting others who don't want to sit in there

Well I would rather see Rovers running out at Shrewsbury than attend an El Classico. Sad but true!.

I just don't have the same adrenalin, when it's not Rovers.

I bought a season ticket again on the strength of PL's appointment. so they have my money already. I am going to go tomorrow, but I am feeling much as I did before that Wigan game, when I decided I was walking away after over 40 years.

I did manage to avoid the first 7 or 8 home games the next season, I never saw another game under Kean. Then I started paying on the day, but it was never the same. Something had died...until Brentford away, weirdly enough! Those last few minutes brought it all back. Then the Raos contrive to turn it sour yet again

Anyway, as things stand, I am boycotting next season and tomorrow will be my "last" game.......(again!.)

Love Rovers/hate Venky's......per omnia saecula saeculorum!!!

Nah

Going fishing

When I can be bothered

I like the idea of you going fishing Koi. Very apt! It's like Abbey going to a Cathedral or Randy Synge visiting a brothel.

Conversely, Athlete is going to the boozer!!

I thought about not going today (long journey ect) but i'm just in from work and (shame on me) i'm genuinely excited for the game.

I am undecided about next season... i have enough things to bring me down without the torture of probable relegation and being miserable week in week out.

I understand why lots are turning away;all i will say about that (without meaning to sound dramatic) is we all need each other. Divided we fall and all that.

F00k you, venkys.

Boycott-yes

Doing- pub

When return- while I fully respect the switch to Stanley. For me, I can't support another. I honestly think I'm done with football. Genuinely thinking of getting a season ticket to Leicester Tigers. Allow you to drink beer while watching the game, and treat fans with respect . Sad times indeed

Mines not a boycott.and never will be..just not that bothered watching all matches and just pick and choose if theres nothing to play for...If seriously relegation threatened Id be there to support ,just as much as if we are playoff contenders...I like away games but thats where my boycott lies...None this season..prob for first time ever..

I'm likely to renew this season but I won't be crowing about it. It's hardly a source of pride. I'm not a better fan, let alone a superfan.

I'm still in that routine of taking my lads and in some ways feel like I am teaching them a life lesson. I certainly don't want them 'following' Citeh or United or Liverpool.

Nobody enjoys the bad times but without them you can't really feel part of the good times.

Maybe the break over the Summer and change of routine may change my mind but I've no plans to fill my time wth anything else at the moment. Prices and likelihood of midweek matches are my main issue. If protests or Venkys Out chants are required then we need people to contribute which you can't of you are away doing something else.

This isn't a call to arms or rallying cry and I fully support anyone staying away. It's all very sad though. I'm hoping to hide my time in the hope that I will outlast the Raos, just like I did with Kean.

It would be nice though if all of the boycotters didn't end up at the Trafford Centre with their missus, and instead gathered outside the ground to demonstrate. The trouble is that would only be getting at mostly the wrong people. It's a tough one.

I always miss the first few matches of the season because I'm in holiday. In the past its been a question of buying the ticket and letting someone else us it until I come back. I refused to do that last year, only buying a ST after lambert's appointment. This year it's even less likely I'll be there at any point in the season unless venkys go.
