The reason that the salary is so low is to ensure that no one credible applies for the job and therefore it can then be used to get Suhail Pasha's work permit appeal through. I hazard a guess that Pasha will be on a lot more money than what is being advertised for this position.

It is going to take a while to go through the official process though and prove that no one suitable has applied. Anyone employed after that will be subject to financial ckecks to verify the correct salary is being paid.

If some known applicants were to present CV's that would throw a spanner in the works!
