I did mention Holloway or Rowett.

Look at the job Rowett has did at Birmingham and the funds he had there.

Look at how well Holloway did at Palace and Blackpool. achieved miracles at Blackpool.

I am fully aware of how many players we have on the books so I dont need to be told by you.

dont get your knickers in a twist cos you've lost a few deep sea divers at the bookies

holloway didnt do that well at Palace tbf but would take him in a shot

agree with Rowett very good manager

Not a chance Gary Rowett would come here. We all know it will be an underwhelming appointment and if it ends up being an underwhelming appointment I won't be coming on this message board for a while that's for sure, maybe just to read chaddy's optimistic take on it but I won't be reading the rest of the depressing meltdown, I've got my season ticket so I'm going to be depressed enough come August!

This is similar to how he picks his names I think.

Thinking about it properly, this is probably how Venkys pick their managers.

Edit: Scarily that woman could easily by Mrs D, all the useless managers on a big wheel looking knackered and burnt out, she manages to luckily win a Warnock then gambles on the mystery prize and gets sod all. Then a foreign bloke shouts "stupid" at her repeatedly.

Ah Red Snapper .... Very Tasty!

... and props for even knowing about UHF! a brilliant and utterly underrated film. I still use the blind man with a rubik's cube to describe some developer's approach to testing their own code.

Benitez confirmed at Toon with a huge war chest to spend. Will be the same for the Villa Manager when appointed. This is what we are up against before we see who our Manager is!

Was coming from the minute we sacked Allardyce, but many wouldn't have it.

Not going to vote - as it all depends on what transfer funds we will have available. If there is no money - then Joyce over Warnock. However, if they give him some money - then Warnock and one last shot at promotion before the debts get too big even for the Venky's

So you don't think an experienced get blood out of a stone type manager is what we really need if there is no money and no players ? Rather take the risk of another rookie youth coach and his youngsters to try and keep us in this division at a crucial time for the club ?

Ok then.

We ain't really up against them though we should be looking at teams who'll be at the other end in terms of competing for places :(

Might as well appoint Eric Kinder as have Warren Joyce. What's the difference? Why is one riskier than the other?

Plenty publicity taking someone from UTD and a great talking point amongst their high profile chums back in India who know Man U but know naff all about football.

^Joyce leaves Manchester Utd for Blackburn Rovers, the club owned by wealthy Indian chicken barons the Rao family"

Hell it would be like meeting the queen again for them.

Makes no sense? Venkys? Makes no sense? Neveeer

Its just dawned on me what is happening! They have dismissed the four interviewed as not suitable and have drawn up a new list that includes Pellegrini, Martinez, Moyes and Van Gaal. If this fails they will re-negotiate with Warnock or go to the ultimate fall back position of Steve Kean as they now believe it was a mistake to get rid of him

Haha it will be like the famous Ronaldinho and Beckham press conference all over again "The attempts to appoint Moyes and van gaal were very real, but I'm back now"

What's the betting the class of 92 documentary as been aired on ten sports recently and Blingy jumped on his laptop and up popped a picture of the current United U21 team with shiny things.

Fighting off relegation whilst trying to produce a production line of young chicks to sell on is a risky strategy, but you can see the appeal to Desai and blingy who seem slightly out of touch to the real world of footballing matters.

The only hope is if they appoint a more experienced head for a couple of seasons along with Joyce, if he his the long term choice.

Just hope if this is the way they are planning to go, Mrs D does not click her fingers after 6 months and expect half a dozen 3 million pound players to sell on whilst we are sitting in the top three of the Championship.

I can't for the life of me understand how Venkys can operate this way. Stating the bleeding obvious I know. But assuming they didn't sit in on the interviews and didn't hear for themselves, how can the decision rest with them? If you can't be bothered to attend the interview and get someone else to do it. Then you should empower that person to decide based on what he or she heard or felt during the interview. It just doesn't make any sense and just demonstrates the neglect they show the club. What are they basing this on? Notes from Pasha? I bet big Barry Rao dropped some fried chicken on Warnock notes, ruined them and now that's why he's out of the running.

Just pull yourselves together FFS!!!

We are not up against them, we need to be looking what the teams at the bottom of the league are doing. Burton will finish above us.
