Urghhh Mcleish = failed manager... My mate who is a brummy fan said he was a dour manager that got the team playing dour football....if you thought big fat Sam was bad then you ain't seen anything....surely we can find better.

Pragmatism with half a poor squad might just be the thing that keeps us up. The moaning about the style under Lambert will be up a notch next season I reckon whoever comes in unless there is decent investment.

Thing is Cheston can't do anything until he gets the word from the owners anyway. He obviously knew they weren't making a decision any time soon and going on hols wasn't causing any problems at all.

Or it could have been, If you can't make your minds up, I am going on holiday, no wonder PL left

I know this is going to sound very naive! but is their any possibility at all that Chestons holiday is a bit of a ruse and he's actually abroad speaking to a few foreign managers about the job?

At a push, he's coming back with a suitcase full of Amber Leaf to flog to visiting directors.
