Honestly im pretty forgiving and id be prepared to give pretty much any body a chance before judging to harshly, But there is no way on this planet Owen effin Coyle would get any breathing space, the man isn't fit to be anywhere near our club and I don't think id be exaggerating one bit by saying he'd quickly become just of big of a figure of hate than Kean.

I honestly dont believe even our board/owners would be stupid enough to seriously consider him though, I think its just pure agent bs and fabricated tabloid fodder

No one is more hated than Kean , personally I wouldnt employ Coyle but to compare him with reptile Kean is nonsense !

Maybe the pigeon with the recommendations from Cheston hasn't landed in India yet

Or it landed in the wrong part of Pune HQ, got covered in breadcrumbs and was on a Venkys XPRS tea cake quicker than you could say .

Kentaro. Some lucky XPRS customer thinks he has won a Neal Warnock

The longer this drags on the more I'm of the opinion that in the minds of our cretin owners their thought process is "what's the point of appointing a manager when the players are on holiday as this will just be wasting money for a few weeks."

One thing's for sure though, the stupid f**kwits better not end up appointing Coyle!

Working out what went wrong

Leeds must be a candidate for having even worse owners than us - Evans was there for 225 days, which qualifies as long-serving by their standards.

No-one is worse than the Venkys

Anybody else think Rotherham may be about to appoint a better manager than who we will ultimately end up with ?

Tricky job appointing a new manager. I wouldn't like to be making that decision. Lasting ramifications going forward, often negative to the business.

The whole process is often a total lottery. Manager A does amazing at one club, then struggles like mad somewhere else. Manager B gets sacked, then rocks up somewhere else and storms it.

For me I would always err towards a stronger character. A Davies, Warnock, Allardyce type. It's a long hard season with immature egos to manage, cajole and stimulate. Strength of character is key, as is a winning mentality and passion for the role.

So.....

Has anyone checked to see if the fax machine is plugged in?

This is what I love about this forum. When all around us who love Rovers is doom and gloom there are still shafts of light and humour

At this rate we'll start the season without a manager, so definitely.

Can't see that happening but would that really be any different to giving David Dunn the role?

Fail to see how Giggs gets linked with any high profile jobs given his lack of experience.

I met Bryan Robson and he was championing him to take over from Van Gaal. He is very highly thought of at Old Trafford. As for being Rovers manager - no chance.

Perth it's just hit me reading your post. It all makes sense now. The agents and the owners collaboration wasnt designed to bulk our squad out with SEM clients at all. No, it was for our owners to give the agents a means to enter the fried chicken market. Kentaro Fried Chicken.

Perhaps its all quiet as the Rao's , are going to bring Kean back?

Regarding Venkys out, i strongly believe it should be raos out

Or... Kean as DoF with a development coach beneath him... Judan Ali maybe
