The kentaro/SEM whatever the f*** they are called involvement can't be legal surely?

On the face of it, they are probably just "advisors" but their tentacles will be everywhere (yes, probably there as well)

Must be a trail back to them somewhere?

They are doing this on purpose now for sure. The true colours of who is running the show are finally shining through. These @#/?s are intent on wrecking the club, the final nail. The only thing that would trump this would be Kean himself !

Myles has the potential to be a great manager...

So after a day of defiance Venkys prove they hold all the aces, we need to find a way to wrestle one back now

You can already see us being vilified in the press and Coyle being unfairly treated by us

Wouldnt suprise me if the appointment is being made out of pure vindictiveness towards the fans, firstly because of the proposed offer from seneca and the large fan backing that received, the backlash the venkys got for dismissing the offer and the Twitter movement against them.

Journalists (hahaha) just need to ask him the SEM/Kentaro question and about his support for Anderson's inside man. Are you reading, Andy Bayes? In a funny(?) way, this " punitive" move by Venky's/Anderson may be just what is required to bring it all to a head...WAR!

They aren't that savvy

It's perfect for them to hide behind again whilst they sell off the remaining assets just like Kean was happy to be on the touchline being the target.

They'll just put the Burnley angle on it as to why we hate him and cover over the real facts. Just another chapter in the con job that is Venky owned Rovers. Hope people finally put to bed this confused nonsense, they've been in on it from the off.

If Coyle is appointed Cheston has misled fans by providing a Job Description of the Manager Rovers were looking for i.e. young, able to bring the youth through, an "Eddie Howe type"

Coyle doesn't tick any of those boxes

Has Nixon confirmed it yet?

I'm watching this Euro 96 thing with Shearer and I'm filled with nostalgia and fond memories of a time where Shearer was at Ewood. Which just makes tonight's revelations about Coyle all the more depressing. Gutted.

Well Glen is adamant:

@glen9mullan: SEM /Kentaro link into india as strong today as the day they bought the club, serious questions to the FA need to be raised as link denied

Didn't Glen mention a firm called Crescendo? Is that a link?

The Burnley link doesn't bother me either. It is Coyle's link to the dark side and his defence of its most dishonest client. This was more than just one manager supporting another. e.g. The Independent in December 2011

The Bolton manager Owen Coyle defended his fellow Scot, claiming that he has never been given a chance in his year at Ewood Park.[/size]

SEM to SEM!

Tbf Coyle is not that bad a manager. It's his previous links to Burnley and SEM that make him a terrible appointment. It creates further divisions between the fans and the club.

And his time at Bolton? Are you joking?

I was holding on in the forlorn hope that some good news would break. That has now been shattered and my only expectations now are of an ever downward spiral at Rovers. What an awful appointment; this guy is a waste of space. Get ready to say cheerio to Hanley, Duffy and Marshall to name but three with retentions from the ones who have been told they are free to go. Oh and forget the likes of Graham coming. Depressing or what

Nixon in full spin doctor mode now for Coyle

Tough one for Nixon, worships the ground "the new Bill Shankley" walks on, but can't resist sticking the knife into us at every opportunity.

He must be completely torn at the moment wondering which way to turn.

I wouldn't be at all happy with the appointment of Coyle but I wouldn't be at all happy with the appointment of people like Jewell, Slade, Redfearn, or Joyce either. Can't see that Coyle is any worse than any of those others mentioned.

Coyle's a piece of @#/?. As uninspiring as the other names mentioned are and despite my unhappiness, they'd have a clean slate from me. Coyley though? No chance. This is two fingers to the fans.
