Possibly on the money though...

Stuart is involved in the same junior team as said person, he may know.

Well it has been known in the past, How anybody with Rovers interest at heart could take the tantric coin is a mystery to me

Woke up this morning remembering that this shouldn't deflect criticism from the right people.

It's almost as if someone knows how to make the fans look bad! I hate Owen Coyle more than most, I'd quite happily tell the stupid prick to @#/? off in an instant. The problem is its Kean scenario MK11- the fans will be painted as swines from day one.

I genuinely can't read this today or I'm going to kick off.

If I had enough in the bank or had something else lined up. No idea of his financial position. Others have walked.

I'm sure he'd leave tomorrow if he had another job to go to. And I'm sure he's looking for one! But until then, he's most likely got an expensive lifestyle to keep paying for.

Coyle's would be appointment is not a surprise. Rumours have been gathering strength and pace since as early as last Thursday and put a dampener on a few days away. Is Coyle's Houston departure just coincidental timing or is there a little bit more to the story ?

We are where we are and sadly, I think the die is well and truly cast for Rovers.

I had a funny feeling you'd come out and say you knew it was on the cards ;).

There is a very small but vocal minority on Twitter now giving it the 'you have to give him a chance' 'rovers fans expect Guardiola' nonsense

Sheron was up to his neck in it with that Bolton thing a few years ago wasn't he. Look at the state of the above. No wonder Bolton are in such hot water financially now is it?

One word comes to mind when reading that - "Rochina".

This club is, nay the owners are, if not legally corrupt, morally corrupt.

Then answer them with simple - Wigan, Bolton, with better players = his true worth. Couldn't Eve cut it in MLS, bottom of league.

Who's more desperate? Us or Coyle?

Blood is boiling.

Sorry in advance Al but the following belongs in this thread , tweets from the red top funster

Wonder what Blackburn Rovers would-be investors at Seneca think about the managerial appointment? Might be worth asking ..

Their views on Coyley not a national story really. But may be revealing all the same.

Spot the difference...... This is a 'Super agent' inspired piece of sh*t just like the stuff spouted about Kean.

If Coyle isn't still in bed with Dave Sheron / SEM then I'll eat my hat.

On Coyle appointment, its the wrong appointment mainly cos he has failed in his last 3 jobs and have been sacked every time.

It is going to a huge job for him or anyone who got it. Would have prefer Monk or Holloway or Sherwood tbh.

What was so outstanding about Coyle cv that made him the best?

Is Coyle still part of sem? Or as Nicko says he parted company with them a few years ago?

Will he keep Irvine and Kelly in his coaching staff?

Has he got a player shortlist to start to bring players in from day 1? We got 9 weeks to bring in 8 to 10 quality players before the season starts.

Chaddy, we are bringing in a crap manager and gambling on cheapies and freebies (remember Delfy?) and WE ARE GOING DOWN!

Sorry to puncture your enthusiasm but that is how it is.

What part of that is enthusiasm?

erm----the quality players?

He's going to have to bring in quality players is not enthusiastic it's just a fact any manager faces.

Quit the borderline ADHD a number of posters have towards chaddy and just stick to the the script. Rovers are @#/?.

Remember Hughesy who posted on here? He's currently praising the appointment on Twitter. Apparently it's good that he 'hates Burnley' as he will want to prove himself.

Some of the fans who didn't get involved in #VenkysOut yet are now posting in defence of Coyle are bizarre - what are their motives?

Thick. Can't face reality. Can't think outside the penalty area.

Jesus H Christ Chaddy. When will you learn?

When Burnley buy Brockhall?

The managerial vacancy is nothing more than a side show chaps, it doesn't really matter who takes over, we're doomed until the owners sod off.

But one things for sure, if they appoint Owen Coyle and that doesn't unite the fanbase against the owners in never will.

Just like any Rovers manager I would be willing to give Coyle a chance however what I find it hard to get past are his links to SEM. His agent Dave Sheron is SEM, although Alan Nixon insists that the relationship between Sheron and SEM ended a few years ago. This coupled with the fact that Pasha has links to Kentaro are deeply worrying and that is something that I find hard to get past. It will be back to the days of Kean when every signing we made there was a thought is this for the benefit of Rovers or for the third parties involved.

It is a total and utter farce I am afraid.

Don't think those dark days ever left
