So nobody goes. Attendance 0. Tell me which players would come to play for us. They would all jump ship; and who could blame them. We would be lucky to survive in the conference. Maybe that is what the majority of posters on this board want. Blackburn Olympic/FCRovers/. Not what I want. Maybe someone will offer Venkys enough to sell, but there is no guarantee in this day and age that they would be better. In fact they could be much worse. We still have a club. It might not be quite what you want, but it still exists. Better than not existing.

And why does this board tolerate the avatar from Amarillo that is clearly a throw back to page 3 days. Outdated and disrespectful to any female on the board, but clearly a delightful experience for those who choose to support it. Sort of says something about their mentality and makes anything they say difficult to agree with.

Narrow-minded drivel. The majority of the posters on this board want Blackburn Rovers to have competent owners running the club, not some shyster's steering it into oblivion. "We still have a club. It might not be quite what you want, but it still exists". Well, is it what you want? The Venky's continue to saddle millions in debt against the club whilst dumbing down its personnel and operations and you talk as if the fans boycotting would be the reason we'd fall down the leagues or cease to exist?! What utter claptrap. We have a hell of a lot more chance of folding if Venky's are allowed to continue their reign of terror, than if they actively sought to sell the club to someone who at least gave a damn and wasn't seriously incompetent (like the Rao's). You state they could be much worse than the Venkster's. No chance. Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck would be a significant improvement on those three.

And some time ago Amarillo asked me if I, as one of the females on the MB was offended by his avatar. I told him I'd let him know if I was. I don't actually notice them. Didn't even realise he had a new one till someone commented earlier. I'm here to talk football. I don't see what fans can do other than stay away if they have had enough. Why pay to be lied to, and bored before you eventually go home disappointed as we let in the inevitable goal or manage to scrape a draw. That's what we've been doing most weeks since venkys took over and unless we do something nothing will change. There's nobody to protest to or against at Ewood so the only form of protest that seems valid is to go and do something you actually enjoy instead of forcing yourself to sit through a travesty of what once defined your week.

Venkys stay and there will nothing left why can't you see that?

Don't give a @#/? about what the modern footballers think , I'd settle for the destruction of Venky FC .

Better than nothing ? Wow .

Imagine if our grandparents thought that with hitter .

As for toppers AV ..Mary Whitehouse is dead . All the crap at Ewood and you welcome Venky FC with open arms and moan about a pair of covered up norks.

Not going will only exacerbate the problem. Don't for one moment like the owners, but the only way the club will become attractive to another owner is if we stay where we are. Not going will guarantee that we fall down the league. At least 3 owners I would rather not have on the list below and another 2/3 who are no better. Getting behind the players may at least give us a chance of being a more realistic proposition for a sale to someone better.

What's the weather like in Hull?

This is so short termist.

League Two clubs have owners. The club would be cheaper to buy, would have a lower cost base and would have a fresh start. Even better news, we'll still have 6,000 fans even week. We'd @#/? that league with owners whose main objective was making Blackburn Rovers successful and not draining the club of quality but keeping it limping along in order to "save face".

"We want our Rovers back" doesn't mean a Premier League side, it means a Blackburn home town club we can all identify with and support. We don't get that until Venkys leave.

I totally agree that the most important thing of all is for the club to survive. Unfortunately, at the moment the money involved in the Premier League is attracting any number of people into buying football clubs for all the wrong reasons. Owners like Jack Walker, Sir Jack Hayward and Dave Whelan are becoming increasing rare - owners who had an affinity to the club that they bought. Ultimately, the present owners will, at some point, leave - all owners eventually do - but it is vital that there is still a club to rebuild once they have gone. Survival in the Championship is crucial for the future well being of the club. With season ticket sales probably likely to be only at the 8,000 mark - it's ironic that in the 70s and 80s the club would have loved to have that number - this is going to be an extremely testing time for all concerned at Ewood. However, a club like Portsmouth endured an even more difficult time, the fans stayed with it and they have come through the other side and have a chance to rebuild. I think that's the reason why I can still remain positive despite all the doom and gloom.

How on earth do you work that one out?

Something doesn't add up. People keep saying Venkys don't care about ST sales, gate receipts are a drop in the ocean to the Rao's.

But now those not renewing are damaging the Club, players won't want to sign for us, blah, blah.

Make your minds up!

What about the offer from Seneca? That was their opportunity to get out and potentially claw back some money. But they even lied about not having received an offer, a chance to go quietly and we can all move on.

The debt is rising, there is a disenfranchised, fragmented fan base, we have been lied to and I really can't be bothered listing all their other failings.

So how do you see it ending?

No fans =no Venky FC = no slumdogs = new start

This reply is straight from the ABBEY scrapbook;

You know that for a fact?

My worry is we will be BRFC with 45 fans in a ground up for sale whilst the billionaires are having oblivious tea parties.

As opposed to the friendly post of "STRAIGHT OUT OF ABBEYS SCRAPBOOK"

Yea pal, how many times have you quoted 500 word plus posts and replied with "you know this for a fact"..

Dont do that if you don't want others on a public message board questioning your "facts" in the same manner!

Portsmouth got rid of the shysters though and with their ownership model they have something to get behind. Do you really think if the same thing had happened to them but they were stuck with those responsible the fans would have stuck behind it numbers ??

I get sick of these Portsmouth comparisons because it's different to us and look at some of their average crowds in years gone by at a higher level when things weren't going well. No different to ours.

Also look at Boltons crowds next season, fans NEED something to unite behind in the absence of good players and football. These tossers won't even bring in a manager of figurehead for fans to get behind instead they seem intent on DIVIDING people even further.
