Yes, let's focus on the positives. Our new manager is proving quite a magnet for new players. I bet the place is absolutely rocking.

yes it seems he is, that's the spirit

and not just any "new players" he signed quality new players(cue some predictably tedious comment about feeney)

Honestly though does it really matter, We've signed a potentially brilliant player and lost a coach, there was a time that a coach leaving would be so insignificant it would barely get a mention other than maybe a couple of lines in the LET, but we've become so totally focused on just the negative stuff lately(on here anyway)

positives hahhaha venky lover

I'm convinced Abbey & TJ are the same person. Just some guy with a split-personality arguing with himself.

There's a mediocre BBC3 comedy in there somewhere.

Anyway transfers...

The Lad Byrne looks a terrific talent. But I hope we're not pinning all out hopes on a 20yr old with little first team action to fire us up the league. I'm not doubting his ability. But it's a long long season and its a lot to ask of a kid. Imo we need something else through the middle who can add a bit of savvy.

A left back according to nicko

Mulgrew?

Is that Mulgrew of Celtic?

Yeah. Not a hint. I know less than the next man. Just a thought. As he's available for nothing. And that seems to be the budget for us.

I'd suggest it's merely a coincidence!

You would!

And Coyle is at Brockhall 24/7 and sleeping on a bag of straw!

Focussing on the positives like others..

So far Coyle has proved extremely impressive in the transfer market.

No budget to buy players but still signing quality players!

Feeney's the most disappointing signing so far but he's supposedly improved since we last saw him, now let's see if that's true!

A few more signings like we've been making and we'll have a good squad.

The question is do we have the Coyle from Burnley or do we have the Coyle from Bolton, Wigan and Houston?

We needed some bodies in after the cull and I'm quite happy about Graham, hopeful for Hendrie, Stokes and Byrne but underwhelmed with Feeney.

I wouldn't call that extremely impressive but a good start.

You would!

!

Same old same old.

Mulgrew has had a couple of nasty injuries so I don't know what shape he's in these days. The Mulgrew of two years ago I would take in a heartbeat.

Marshall allegedly refusing contract talks is a concern

Wendy fans love him don't they? They've got tons of tuna cash so I wouldn't be surprised if he wants out if they wave a wad under his nose. I'd be disappointed if Hanley went there though, I'd hope he sticks it out with us unless a top flight club comes in.

Marshall was out of sorts at leicester and is a confidence player and seems to have found his feet at rovers...would not be suprised if he was to leave then fall away like bentley

Has OC any other irons in the fire re players in particular youngsters of the supposedly quality of Byrne?

Who's claiming Byrne has any quality if City are off loading ?

Why should any self respecting Rovers fan be taken for a ride in having to pay to watch somebody else's dross making up the numbers ?
