JAL Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Probably goes to more games than you. Let's wait and see when the transfer window shuts what sort of season is in prospect deryck .
deryck guyler's spoon Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Let's wait and see when the transfer window shuts what sort of seasons is in prospect deryck . Yes, lets. ...............sheesh.
JAL Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Yes, lets. ...............sheesh. Good man knew you'd start to see my way if you had an ounce of sense in you.
deryck guyler's spoon Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Good man knew you'd start to see my way if you had an ounce of sense in you. To be honest if I had 'an ounce of sense in me' I wouldn't engage with you at all as you definately have Roos loose in the top paddock. Silly me. Anyway, at least you got a 'like' from 'Abs', what a meeting of minds. Shouldn't you be at your Brockhall cleaning job by the way?
eddy11d Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Agreed. The last thing we need at the moment is another centre-back unless Hanley or Duffy leave. With those two, Ward and Lenihan, not to mention two excellent centre-backs in the Under-21's, in Wharton and Platt, we are more than covered. We simply haven't got the money to pay for a fourth senior centre-back sitting around doing nothing. Left-back, midfield and another striker are surely the priorities.I disagree, we need some proper experience which is something we have massively lacked for years. With years of playing for the biggest club in the world and winning multiple PLs and a Champions League, Wes Brown provides it.

T J Hooker Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Let's wait and see when the transfer window shuts what sort of season is in prospect deryck . You can't possibly tell how the season's going to go simply by lookimg at the squad list at the stary of it.

deryck guyler's spoon Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Ha! He's certainly made my day Billy no mates Down under. Never mind me and my social standing, you need to push that brush around and keep an eye open for the next Phil Jones.
USABlue Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Do you go to the games ? Course not, but I don't mouth off like I do.
neophox Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Wes Brown got bags of experience. Can Clint Hill perform in championship then Wes can!
mustard Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Didn't know where else to post it but we have taken the following youth players on our Austria Pre-Season training camp: Conner Mahoney (Winger), Lewis Mansell (Striker), Ryan Nyambe (Full Back), Jack Doyle (Fullback), Scott Wharton (Defender), Lewis Hardcastle (Midfielder) and Andy Fisher (Keeper). Presumably, to run the rule over them and see if any of them can make the step up this season No Tomlinson? Anyone know how he is doing? Really impressed me in the pre-season last year.
Neal Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 No Tomlinson? Anyone know how he is doing? Really impressed me in the pre-season last year. Heard things regarding his attitude, don't want to make him out as a bad lad, just what I've heard.
Stuart Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Heard things regarding his attitude, don't want to make him out as a bad lad, just what I've heard. My arse!

I think we still need 4 players this summer. A left back, 1 midfielder and 2 strikers Didn't know where else to post it but we have taken the following youth players on our Austria Pre-Season training camp: Conner Mahoney (Winger), Lewis Mansell (Striker), Ryan Nyambe (Full Back), Jack Doyle (Fullback), Scott Wharton (Defender), Lewis Hardcastle (Midfielder) and Andy Fisher (Keeper). Presumably, to run the rule over them and see if any of them can make the step up this season Pleased to see that Coyle is looking to bring in 2 or 3 players from the under 21's this season. I think Mahoney, Nyambe, Wharton and Hardcastle should be in and around the first team squad. we need to be bring through the youth now!
Neal Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 My arse! You proud of it or got tourettes? http://m.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/14595590.-/ The fact that Coyle says he's in for a keeper and doesn't want just squaddies fills me with a bit of comfort... I'd feel a ton better about this season with a better keeper than Steele.

They need to be good enough first, Chaddy and then eased into the first team. Chucking them all in too soon could see us drop like a lead balloon.
