Bolton fans says he was good for them. Says he improved alot now from when he first signed for them

Then why is he being given away and was loaned out last season? You can try and justify it to yourself mate but don't try and justify it to others. It is another example of where Rovers are going under the imbeciles and their stooges.

In all fairness he was loaned out last year so Bolton who are skint could offset wages onto another club. He's being freed as his wages are Championship level and not league one, yet.

As I posted before I wouldnt sign him. Dont need to justify anything btw.

He was loaned out cos of Bolton financial problems.

I wonder if people realise that there are more posts bickering about what Chaddy posts than actual Chaddy posts, irony.

Anyhow, one of the people complaining about how much Chaddy posts, actually posted more than him under the 'top posters' on the site. (Incidentally so had I).... You're all adults, when you see 'Chaddyrovers' just scroll past it. It's only a messageboard and the words you see are only pixels on a screen.

Irony is that you've just added to it. :)

It's so depressing that we really are heading back down the Kean Road again.

Lack of trust and suspicions of ulterior motives in any signing. Why could Venkys or the board to see this? It's this very ignorance or arrogance that is giving creedence to the conspiracy theories.

When we look at the areas that desperately need strengthening then wingers aren't one of them. It would be a pointless Bowyer type for the sake of it signing. Unless of course they are preparing for a Ben Marshall void, then you look at us being linked with Bogdan. Yes I'd like an upgrade on Steele but in the scheme of things at the min again it's pointless.

If he gets Danny Graham that's fair enough but Feeney IMO is utterly pointless. Just a lad looking for a club and desperate to stay at Champ level.

Oh and Chaddy, just how hard would it be to look good in a side as bad as Bolton ???

Why would Danny Graham come to Rovers now though? The ONLY thing we can offer is money, as the squad is the worst ever, and we have no ambition. But to offer him the money it will take means that we will have to use most of our non-budget, and have nothing left.

This could be our smallest, weakest squad in a long, long time.

Maybe it's time to start watching the youth sides INSTEAD of the first team - it will probably be more enjoyable. Is it still free for season ticket holders?

True, I just hope it can cease post haste.

This all started because two attempts (separate threads) - including very civil and reasonable requests - to put Nicko's BS in one place were shot down.

As you say though, let's hope it will cease but only treating the symptoms rarely cures a problem.

Stop playing the victim Stuart, it doesn't suit you.

This all started because people didn't use bob's handy (bloody obvious) method of ignoring posts. See the name and think 'I'll ignore that'. If quoting is the problem then the name of the quoted poster appears right under the name of the actual poster. At which point you go 'I'll ignore that'.

So it 'started' because of a reaction?

That makes no sense.

Probably already been said and I notice someone just implied this; a good point nonetheless. Hansen said, 'you win nothing with kids' but don't we have some impressive ones? Is it better to shop at Poundland when you may already have some better 'stuff' in the store cupboard?? You guys know better than me, but is there any 'better' potential already at the club, playing U21 and youth level?? An honest question and, if so, squad them now and give them a pre-season surely. Probably being far too simplistic but if you can't afford to buy then surely you have to 'blood'?

Watching the youth team and boycotting the first team would be a good form of protest as someone suggested a while ago. Thing is though those crackpots would either then sell the entire first team and promote the youth or close them down.

Agree on Graham but he's the only beacon of hope we have at the min and to be honest I don't see him thriving under Coyle at all. Lambert got him in with a system in mind and he was the spearhead of it but i'll admit now if it came to giving him 20k pwk or 2 at ten grand we might be better going with the latter. Graham does have some quality about him though it'll come at a cost.

No mate we don't they are very young and far from ready to compete for first team spots at this level.

A few people don't rate the lads coming through the youth set-up, but if Feeney is the market we're dealing in I'd rather call on them than have some lower-league journeyman taking a wage.

I didn't mind having to sit through Chaddy views until he proved he was on the wind up by completely lying on what he said and then defending it by stating his BRFCC opinion doesn't have to be the same as his twitter opinion.

On one hand this morning he is bigging up Nixons relationship with Coyle, and then he is quoting Nixons positives on Feeney as a reason to sign him. He knows full well that Nixon never ever criticises Coyle and will make up any BS to defend him

Again, his opinion is the opposite of every one else on here. Probably because he is on the wind up but the proven liar knows he can now do this and have numerous members of the board leap to his defence. He's probably on twitter now sayin how poor the Feeney signing would be.

A slower less effective version of Elliott Bennett - why wouldn't we sign him?

Proof Nixon will bang any drum Coyle wants him to when he's trying to sell this as a great move

'He could have had 20 assists' Brown could have had 10 goals if crosses are counting as assists we should count shots as goals.

Don't do this

Frighteningly, I can only think of two shots Brown EVER had for us. One was a high wide and handsome one, the other, a feeble header.

I said it on here actually. Did you not see that!

Why keep mention my name? Just talk football and nothing more. Its a football messageboard.

On Graham, we probably will offer best wages and have the best facilities in terms of Ground and training facilities.

Would he be Coyle type of striker? I think Graham would be most people type of striker cos of his all round type of game.

The point is Hasta, how difficult is it to follow Mr Flemings advice?

Can't see us being able to afford his wages myself chaddy, he'd need to drop 50% and a bit more i'd imagine to get him on board, don't see that happening.

That was my thinking as well. Would rather have a young lad, prepared to sweat and work for the club than a journeyman coming for a pre-retirement nest egg!!

i actually dont think Feeney is a terrible player, hes a decent squad player at this level and i always thought he had a pretty good cross on him(and he's probably cheap) but it would be a terrible 'first signing' and will only turn more fans off(definitely wont win any other anyway)

People keep saying this Gav but i think its Graham who has to start being realistic about what wages he can get. Although he did well for us this is still a player who only scored ONE goal for Sunderland at the top level of English football and is in his 30's. If clubs were willing to offer him silly money then i'm sure they would have done by now.

If he enjoyed it here and played good football then he should just compromise with the club and get it done. He could go somewhere else, not play and be looking for another club in 6 months time. Here, he is a valued member of the team and is playing well.
