I explained yesterday how you could offer Graham 20k a week wages based on last season wages for strikers

Those strikers are gone for a reason chief, and it isn't because we're looking to put the wage bill back up again. It would also be insane to have all our strikers leave and then bring in one person to replace them - surely you see that?

Anyhow, I'm surprised nobody other than us and Celtic appear to be seriously interested in Graham. Unless I've missed something. I'd have thought his performances with us last season would have at least taken the interest of a few other clubs with a bit more clout than us.

But who is to say that won't change, Chaddy? All because we spent that last year, doesn't mean we will this year.

You're stating opinion as fact. A simple "IMO" can go a long way.

We dont even know what Coyle budget is for wages or transfers.

People with dyslexia have difficulty reading, writing and expressing themselves.

I was going to post this yesterday when the lynch mob was in full flow, but its just as relevant now.

I'm not getting at you in particular mustard, but reminding posters that we're all different, think before you post.

Chaddy, are you deliberately winding me up here? Of course we don't know. That's why I'm suggesting you don't state things as fact when it's an opinion.

"IMO", "I think...", "I believe..." etc etc...

I know plenty of people with dyslexia incl a good few very close to me. Dyslexia doesn't make you lie, Gav. He knows what he said, he's been shown what he said and instead of holding his hand up and saying "I wasn't clear, I meant this...", he instead lies and argues for the sake of it. Sorry Gav, but dyslexia isn't a viable excuse in this instance (IMO). I wouldn't call him out on petty mistakes as I know he's dyslexic but he doesn't seem to have a problem expressing himself when he's disagreeing with people or telling them to give it a rest.

The lad is battered from pillar to post on here mustard, yesterday was a disgrace.

Some people have forgotten this is a messageboard not a bl00dy court room, one mans fact is another mans opinion, posters need to get some perspective.

Its open season on certain posters, and i for one hate bullies and bullying and thats what I've read on here over the past days.

Just my opinion of course and not aimed at you in particular.

We now digress, which is why I didn't want to say anything, but it needs saying.

You're an authority on dyslexia?

He does get a lot of stick on here, and a large chunk of it is unwarranted, i.e. some of the Nicko stuff. But yesterday he posted something Nicko had said in the "Transfer Links" thread. I told him the thread was for direct web links only and instead of accepting it, he argued with me resulting in K-Hod having to delete the posts.

Then today, he says something, denies it and spends his time arguing. I have the greatest sympathy for anyone with any condition, but I'm almost certain this has nothing to do with it. He's just trying to wind people up.

You're an authority on dyslexia?

No, are you? Last time I checked, dyslexia was a term for disorders involving difficulty interpreting and reading words, not a condition that triggers short-term memory loss and compulsive lying.

If there is something more severe causing his behaviour then it should be made clear to all forum members so no one ever disagrees with him or calls him out.

I generally stick up for chaddy but I agree with mustard here.

In future chaddy, admit when you change your mind and try to clarify those changes or your differing meanings.

It did come across as a complete contradiction rather than a change of opinion. Be careful how you post.

However, I agree that the behaviour of the mob over the wknd was appalling. I'd know, I hid over 40 posts of utter crap on top of many hidden by every other mod.

Like i said I'm not having a pop at you, but the quotes above say you're taking all this far to seriously, personally even, and I'm sure its not said posters intention to wind you up.

Seriously?

You better give the same warning to 95% of the posters on here Mike, with all due respect thats just just complete and utter bunkum.

You mods do a great job but thats just nonsense.

Whatever that illness is, Steve Kean suffered from it.

No no, I don't take it personally. I like to consider myself a civil and amiable poster and my suggestions were merely to assist Chaddy in avoiding receiving further stick. It's just annoying and frustrating when someone argues with you for no reason. I'm not going to put Chaddy on ignore or anything as I think he's a good contributor to the forum and he posts things which are useful to me and no doubt to others. That doesn't excuse him lying and I'm sure he's clever enough to know when he's winding people up for the most part.

Anyways, back to transfers...

Gav, his original point was that the club definitively would be able to afford 20k/week plus bonuses for Graham.

He then changed tack, when challenged (not nastily, either), to 'I meant that's what I'd offer if I were manager'.

Those are different statements and while I do think it's churlish for him to be called on it in such minute detail, he equally doesn't help himself sometimes.

Maybe I'm just tired tonight after the BS over the wknd.

This site is full of liars, people claiming to being ITK and such like, Chaddy isn't one of them in my opinion, he just struggles expressing himself.

I've said my piece mustard, and please don't think I'm singling you out because I'm not.

Even if, hypothetically, Danny Graham does sign, it is merely one piece of a large puzzle that needs to be solved within the next few weeks. If we still had Rhodes or Gestede or even Josh King the prospect of adding Graham to the ranks would excite me. As it is we've 0 (zero) recognised forwards on the books. Graham would be a very decent addition, but only a start. We need 3 more decent players on top of him, especially when considering Graham's age and possible fitness concerns over a 46 game season,

We had the ideal scenario with Rhodes and Gestede. Both quality players in this league, both a good age, both fit players who could play more or less every game.

Quite how we've gone from 12 months ago having arguably the most feared attack outside the top flight to having no forwards at the club is testament to the shambolic management of the club from top to bottom during that time.

For those saying we can't afford x or can't afford y, lets remember there is a pile of cash to the tune of £20 million sat somewhere from selling Rhodes, Gestede, King, Cairney. If the owners want to release some of that money for a spend this summer then they can do. The question isn't can we afford to do it, but more will these moronic people allow us to do it,

Sounds like someone struggling to express himself Mike!

If you hang on to his ever word looking for fault you'll find it day in day out because he's dyslexic! thats what dyslexia is!

You do a great job, but this poster needs protecting in my opinion not calling out, the stuff yesterday was disgusting.

No but then I wasn't telling the forum what the symptoms of dyslexia are/are not. You were.

I also find it odd that you know "many" people with that condition and that a "good few" are close to you. I haven't been aware of meeting a dyslexic person in almost 50 years.

As for a poster having to disclose private medical details before posting - that beggars belief.

Its a bl00dy message board, with liars cheats and supporters of other clubs masquerading as genuine Rovers fans

I know Gav, you'll see from my posts that I'm not one to gang up on someone. I just took issue with him making a comment, denying he'd made said comment and referring us to something he said last week (which I hadn't read), and then when he'd been shown what he said, he kept coming back with retorts. Maybe he wasn't on the wind up, but there's no shame in holding our hands up when we're wrong. Would have been easier for all of us. As for the stick Chaddy got at the weekend, I wouldn't know as I wasn't online much and haven't read back too far.

What are you arguing with me for? I'm guessing you are bored or something and thus arguing for the sake of it. If I told you that a broken leg also doesn't trigger memory loss or compulsive lying, would you need to refer to a specialist in bones and fractures to confirm I am telling the truth? Use your noggin.

Have you been outside of your house in the last 50 years? Maybe it's a different time but I've met numerous people at school, Uni and beyond who've had the diagnosis.

As for the last comment, it was tongue in cheek more than anything and I'm sure you know that. However, if you have an ailment that has caused a low IQ, I'd prefer you tell me so before I call you an idiot.

Just come across Coyles lads twitter account... He and the Rovers fans asking him about transfers makes me want to peel my own skin off and strangle them with it.

Cringe.

Surprised his dad's letting him. It is bizarre. Bigging up "good players" that are supposedly coming to the club and some people lap it up!
