tomphil Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I was married by the time I was that age! 40 is the new 21 and 50 is the new 40 apparently, or something like that so I'm told Dad seems a bit of a clown so no surprise if Jnr is a bit of a chip off the old block lol

Colt Seavers Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 E. Spelling mistakes will mean you instantly lose any arguement. Delicious irony!
Neil Weaver Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 He's not that young either is he? I remember his being at school when they lived down Henthorn Road by the tip. So is it the father or son who was the inspriation for Stig of the Dump?
yeti-dog Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I was married by the time I was that age! You're supposed to be old enough to vote on important matters and to do other responsible adult things in life so you should have some idea of how to behave responsibly on social media. I know lots of young people dont but what has happened to the idea of not leaving your parents open to blame etc. When I was a kid my dad was an EWO. I'd never have thought of nicking off school or of committing any sort of minor crime because it would have reflected badly on my dad and made life difficult for him if anything had gone to court as he'd have had to send one of his officers with the school report. Apologies if incorrect Gumboots but I seem to remember you having said before you're a teacher. If indeed you are I'm surprised that you'd expect immature, self absorbed 19 year old lads to have any head space for anyone but themselves... Delicious irony! I'd like to think he did it on purpose...
chaddyrovers Posted June 20, 2016 Author Posted June 20, 2016 From Wheelock Owen Coyle hoping to get answer from Danny Graham this week. Spoke to his representative again at weekend. #rovers have made 'good offer'. Owen Coyle has also confirmed that he expects to announce more signings this week. #rovers
Rover_Shaun Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 They are bound to say it was a good offer. The club can't lie straight in bed these days
JAL Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Probably not, though he used to be a part-owner of one..... Why would anyone drop a part of their income stream.
BlueMonday Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I'd say Graham is already a lost cause. He's obviously looking else where. The only chance is that no one meets his wage demands and he decides to return to Rovers as he allegedly enjoyed his loan spell. 'Good Offer' doesn't mean much coming from Ewood.
JAL Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Hendrie due to sign today...Someone else's player wearing the blue and white jersey ?Has Ewood become the agents shop window ? We want our Blackburn Rovers back !
J*B Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 If we where in any position to sign Graham he would be here by now. Its on our lap, no way should it have been left this late. He's probably got a whole host of offers now.
AJW Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 i saw us linked to Nakhi Wells on Twitter , possibly as a fall back if Graham doesnt come
Neal Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Apparently Sean Murray is the prem loan player. Who? Jesus, if thats right then thats totally underwealming after all the noise made about it. http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2015/12/sean-murray-back-at-watford-after-wigan-loan-deal-cut-short/
Mercer Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I don't think we will see Hanley at Rovers when pre season training starts. Also, keep an eye out for Arsenal's Toral.
J*B Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 i saw us linked to Nakhi Wells on Twitter , possibly as a fall back if Graham doesnt come We haven't got the money for Wells.
T J Hooker Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Apparently Sean Murray is the prem loan player. yep, that would be Amazing(or was it incredible?)
Backroom Tom Posted June 20, 2016 Backroom Posted June 20, 2016 Wells would be brilliant - so it's a non starter
JHRover Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Apparently Sean Murray is the prem loan player. Strange one. Only 22 yet made his debut for Watford in 2010 aged 16. In the 6 seasons since his debut he's only made 70 odd appearances for them, but has scored around 1 goal every 5 games.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted June 20, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted June 20, 2016 Why would anyone drop a part of their income stream. You'd have to ask him. People sell businesses all the time for a whole host of reasons.
West Yorks Rover Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I would be very surprised if anyone is signed for a fee, even if we sold Hanley or Marshall or both. Well, maybe the odd £100k if we sold both.
JHRover Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I expect Graham will be on his way. Someone like Norwich, Brighton or Bristol City will offer him considerably more than we will. If he was prepared to stay here, which he clearly was with the comments made to the media, then the deal should have been lined up before last season ended. To allow it to creep into late June and still not have it signed and sealed could be a fatal delay for the club. Never mind, the club can say 'at least we tried' in making him a 'good offer' whilst he gets signed up by a rival club with more ambition that this one. I would be very surprised if anyone is signed for a fee, even if we sold Hanley or Marshall or both. Fees are off the agenda and have been since about 2013. They allowed some decent spending in Bowyer's first summer on Marshall and Evans, and then backed him to sign Conway, Cairney and Gestede in the January window in 2014. Since then, in 2.5 years, the only significant outlay has been on Shane Duffy for a few hundred thousand. A small amount was spent on Jason Steele, Elliot Bennett and Elliot Ward, but they were as good as free transfers, as all 3 were out of contract at their old clubs and were being moved on. Infact it wouldn't be surprising if all 3 actually came in on free transfers themselves. For 18 months they could dress it up as saving money to achieve FFP compliance, but now we're out of the embargo and they've brought in a fortune selling all the quality players, so they're out of excuses for not spending any money at all. Paying wages and bringing in loans does not constitute investment.
chaddyrovers Posted June 20, 2016 Author Posted June 20, 2016 If we where in any position to sign Graham he would be here by now. Its on our lap, no way should it have been left this late. He's probably got a whole host of offers now. He will have alot of offers to consider but hopeful we have offered him good wages to stay. Cant see him getting better elsewhere tbf
LA Rover Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 FWIW, Nicko has answered two separate posters on Twitter that Sean Murray is NOT the young AM.
