No I dont.

I want a target man type striker with a pacey striker then a 3rd striker with Skill. 4th one being a number 10 type.

Each striker with different skills.

If we sign Danny Graham he would be 1st choice with either Stokes or pacey striker

Yeah cause Stokes is so much better than Rhodes...

Model pro if possessing limitations but we won't see another with his talents whilst Venkys still here.

Hanley won't go to a Championship side IF Coyle impresses with his signings. He is Rovers through and through

I thought he was linked with PL clubs. I think he would go to a Championship club who he feels would be challenging at the top. Realistically what can Rovers offer him to match his ambitions?

That's not a fact though is it? Lambert was pretty impressive in what he said, the way he ran the team and brought in a few loans but Rhodes still went. So not sure you can assert Hanley won't go if there's a few promising signs. In fact football as a whole shows us that's not the case.

Mind you it's redundant - based on the last few years and stokes signing we ain't going to be making any impressive signings...

Depends who we sign. I for one haven't given up on next season

Why? Hanley isn't in his league. Won't Coyle have some say on who he wants to keep? Many seem to think he's just a Venky's puppet; I'm not of that view

I genuinely have no idea how much (if any) say Coyle would have on out going transfers.

Ultimately, if a premier league team comes in with a reasonable offer, he might just request to leave (why wouldn't he?)

Wheater would be a significant downgrade but he's just a freebie option with whom we have once been linked with. If Venkys don't give him any money to replace Hanley, that's the market we are shopping in.

The last six years should give you an idea of the direction the club is going. Hanley going would just be another indication of their intent.

the only time hanley looks good is when he makes his little runs forward, as a defender he's average t best and he hasnt improved one bit in the past 5 years and still makes stupid rash mistakes, id accept any decent offer for him and buy a few better players with the money(in theory!)

The big problem if Hanley goes is replacing him. After an indifferent couple of seasons he really came good under Lambert and was head and shoulders above anybody else last season. With Kilgallon gone it left Rovers short of centre halves anyway and if Hanley were to go I don't believe he could be replaced by any cheap or free replacements. If this happens I firmly believe we would be relegation certainties.

Do you really think the money would be spent on players? The black hole would swallow the money up.

Which is why I said marriappa on a free I don't think we should sell him but I think if an offer of around 5m came in he would go in reality it will prob be less than 5

Under Lambert there was a marked improvement in all aspects of his game. Primarily I thought his improved fitness was important but his reading of the game, tackling (very few bookings for reckless challenges) and passing was much better. His leadership qualities also improved I felt.

Can tell you've not been on in a while.

Do you honestly think we'll get better players in?

Hanley leaving Rovers should be no surprise.

I think it's been a near certainty since it became known that Lambert was offski.

Think Marshall also heading for the exit door.

isn't Roberts a winger? as we signing Feeney that will give us 5 wingers then. do we need a 6th?

Does seem odd.. would not be surprised to see Bennett moved to right back, with either Roberts and Feeney on the right wing.. and Marshal sold.

Roberts can play in allot of roles though, just has bags of ability so who knows.

Yep and they'll continue to dress the window by sanctioning the wages of a few frees and loans but putting nothing concrete back into the playing side like they never have.

Do enough to try and keep the team out of trouble in this division and spend a big on grass seed and it's enough to pull the wool over the eyes of a good few of the remaining natives.

It's beyond me how it hasn't actually dawned on some what is happening yet. Without any assets to cash there'd be virtually no one coming in and we really would be Blackpool.

I dont see Hanley or Marshall going anywhere until teams pay the asking price?

Hopefully Coyle can convince both to stay

Marshalls value will drop like a stone as he only has one year left on his contract. Potentially another huge mistake that could cost a few million quid.

Seriously what could Coyle say to convince them particularly if far more ambitious clubs want them. This is Blackburn Rovers 2016.
